As much as I LOVE ASkars I am slightly disappointed that he has become a celeb who wear sunglasses inside an airport. I know, it’s a small, silly, petulant thing to point out. But why do it?! It just draws more attention to yourself and in my opinion a normal person would feel like a total **** doing it.

@wow:You are right I am what most consider old at 54. But my age has nothing to do with it. When you talk with your contemporaries talk any way you want. Believe me in the late 60′s and early 70′s the words we used were criticized also. But when you communicate in a public place have the courtesy to do so in an appropriate manner. @Macy, I hope the show regains what it had the first two seasons, and might get there once AB is gone. Still can’t help but wonder if S6 would be its last, AB or no AB.

I have a sneakign suspicion that it might be the last season. They’re wearing it thin already with a lot of viewers. Hopefully it will regain some of the good things that happened early on in the series, but once again it sounds like there are way too many plot lines.

I would say further, that it was also a problem that -in the end- they gone a bit to far away from the book-storys. Of course, to bring into the show a character like jessica (or talbot too, for instance – and may be in the future also someone like nora) was a good move – but I guess with a bit more focus on the original story it wouldn’t have been necessary to construct a lot of side-stories for what a lot of fans aren’t really interested for. This season will show how far the concept of this original-changes will carries.

I mean, GOT is also a great viewer-magnet – even though (or also because of) they took a lot of the original story. I mean, I still haven’t seen it up to now, nor have I read the books – but from what I have heard (from readers), apparently they shall be very close to the original stories.

@Cafélady: I think GoT is lucky in that George Martin is involved and that you can’t tweak the show that much or it loses the point of the books. The subject material is also a much more ‘meaty’ story.
Charlaine has been very diplomatic in what she’s said but there are times when I wonder if she wishes she she’d made sure she had some say in TB storylines.

I think the show gets worse because most characters aren’t used for storylines, they just add characters, have a storyline around them for a while and then stop using them basically. Some of them don’t do much and become a cliche.
Arlene used to be funny with her prejudice-stuff, but now she is just a whiner with a bad taste in men,
Behhhhll hasn’t done much since his romance with Sookie is over, Tara is just plain annoying.
Jason seems to be everyone’s sex-puppet and that’s it.
Sam’s stories also make me go blehhhh; first the family stuff, which I found very boring, then all the drama with him and his shapeshiftergirls etc etc.
I also find Jessica’s shift in attitude towards Hoyt very weird, first she wanted to do everything to get him back and now she just dropped him and doesn’t care.
Also Sookie’s inability to choose between men is very annoying at this point, but I liked her in the last episode, so maybe it might change.
Characters I keep on liking are Andy (as long as they don’t do some kind of weird storyline around him and then forget about him. Also, please don’t make him part of the whole fairy-thing with him and the fairy in season 4 epi), Pam, Lala, Alcide and Eric (except his lovey-dovey memory-loss part, which hasn’t been worked with since he got his memory back. He just seems to doesn’t care about Sookie now, just like he kinda did before the memory-loss (or pretended to not care). Beats me why they used the amnesia thing then).

there are far to many characters in TB that are not really needed, no disrespect to Lucy griffiths and i am not just saying this because she gets to kiss Alex on screen good for her, but there is no need to for the Nora character yes she brings some nice sex appeal to TB the sex scene between Eric and Nora looked like some soft porn and those stupid lines I miss you bro I miss you sister stuff ? WTF? Not really needed.
Also where is the nora character going unless the writers have some really big story line for her ? Lined up.
what importance is she to TB except working for the vampire authority as a double agent and having a history with Eric ? Including some saucy

You make an excellent point because I just thought about this Eric didn’t ask who Salome was, Bill did, I wonder who else he knows. Also, remember when she puts her arms sort of around Chris Meloni and kind of puts a stop to the stalking, she says she is intrigued by the Russell story, no one else at the authority said that, and from what I have read her character and Chris Meloni’s character are having a vampire fling.
Also she really didn’t hit Nora that hard, maybe they are both loyal to Eric.

@Strange: I miss the shots of him in his gym attire.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t make it to Comic-Con this year, it’s the week before the Hidden starts filming and perhaps he’ll want to stay home as long as possible.
I suspect we won’t know until much closer to CC.

@Texas Swede—Yes, I must agree JJ is really making us sad, but I think @ ladybug is right, they are finishing up the last episodes of TB and I think those last few are location shootings. Also I think he is probably doing pre production work on his upcoming films and knowing what we know about him, he is trying to either get home for short visits or make arrangements for them, that just seems like what we know.
The TB end of shooting party usually happens in July, so that is going to be coming up.
Also, I must share this with my AS fans, my ex boss wanted to cheer me up and sent me AS’s new TB poster and believe it or not the HBO Shop has an Eric/AS kind of statue and I received those both today. So I haven’t stopped smiling since the early morning, when I got the delivery, it was such a surprise.
I have to say that this poster in person is amazing, but my favorite will be the one I got of AS the first season and I also got a Battleship poster from Amazon recently. Oh alright, what can I say, I just love looking at this mans face, when I cannot see any up and coming movie releases. Even though, I have to say, I think the Eric/Pam backstory and the stuff that is going to happen with him and the Authority (something is definitely up) are two of the best storylines TB has ever had.

You’re partially right; IMDB is much like Wikipedia, anyone can add information but I think “Star meter” works in a different way. Average user can’t manipulate it. I may be wrong but I read somewhere (on IMDB page?) that actors placement are created automatically based strictly on the clicks, articles, mentions etc about the actors in question. The only way average joe/jane can manipulate star meter is rabidly and relentlessly click the page of certain actors and that only helps if “Star meter” is not IP sensitive. Of course if you’re IT savvy you can evade that restriction ;)

I have to say I think last nights TB episode was one of the best in a really long time. I loved how the Eric/Pam backstory is turning out. It shows you the Pam character was always so tough, I mean look how she got him to turn her and Eric/Pam looked so good in bed, I hope this season just gets better and better.
All the actors and actresses go to Beachers, it is a fun place and they can have fun and not be bothered unless they want to and of course, he never says no to a fan, so why wouldn’t he pose for a picture.
@maria—-Joe M doesn’t care about the work, he just cares about promotion. The only thing I found him kind of funny on was Two and a Half Men, he played a dentist, but you really could tell he was uncomfortable playing a part like that.
JM just wants to always been seen without his shirt on, I mean there are so many wonderful actors out there with great bodies, yet they manage to keep their shirts on.

However, it’s nice to picture him while reading :-) A girl can dream, right? Hey, I am not saying the books are masterpieces of literature but they sure are fun to read. Can’t always read the heavy stuff. The movie could go either way depending on which direction they choose. Could be risky business and may make or break someone’s career.

For who has read 50 shades, I think Sharon Stone as Mrs. Robinson would be great.

I’m going to attempt diplomacy here: I’m not immune to the lures of a trashy novel, and at least you admit that ‘s it’s a fun read for you.

Having attempted to read it, I found it too badly written to even be a fun trashy novel. I think what bugs me about some of the reactions to it are the ones who act as if it it is great literature. I really want to expand the reading horizons of these people, both for ‘normal’ reading, and even erotica/porn.

But it would be typecasting for him, and he is staying away from those roles. As he should be, he’s in a place now where he can be pickier about what he takes, and build a diverse acting resume.

Eric had various options when Pam cut her wrists but I think deep down he was lonely and ready for a companion so he chose to turn her. He had that look in his eyes, almost sad.

Alexander Skarsgard and Miley Cyrus were spotted partying at Beacher’s Madhouse of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in L.A. this past weekend. Talk about an odd couple! Is there something going on between them that Miley’s fiancée Liam Hemsworth should be worried about?
Fortunately, they were merely in the same club at the same time. Skarsgard apparently has better taste and has no interest in the scrawny, out-of-work clinger to Hemsworth’s coattails. Alexander reportedly showed no interest in anyone in the club. Although a “handful of girls” approached the True Blood hunk, he spent the evening “mostly under the radar.” This is surely welcome news to ASkars fans; he appears to remain on the market.
Miley Cyrus, of course, was unable to show the same cool reserve that Alex exhibited. According to Wetpaint, Miley was downright “partying” and in a noticeably “good mood.” Although clubbing is a common practice for a girl of Miley’s young age, is it really the image she wants to put out when she’s preparing to settle down into marriage? Although Liam Hemsworth apparently has nothing to worry about in Alexander Skarsgard, Miley gives her squeeze plenty of other bothersome things to weigh on his mind. Lainey can be full of it, and is sometimes flat out wrong but she also can be right when a lot of other people get it wrong. It’s like anything, she’s hit and miss. Alex and Keith have been involved sexually for quite some time. Yes Alex is also attracted to and has had numerous relations with women but he truly loves Keith. Everyone close to them knows this and it’s very tragic. They’ve both tried to pretend and deny because they’re both very professional and career-driven. Also extremely private, and be sure Keith was not Alex’s first. He has always been bisexual and it’s so sad to me that even now when there are many men out there (Matt Bomer, Neil Patrick Harris, etc) who are sex symbols and still accepted and embraced for their open sexuality that a man like Alex has to go such great lengths not only to hide but be tortured trying to deny an important part of himself. Every one of you here who is dismissive and insulting about these rumors are not a true fan. If you truly cared for and appreciated this man as you say than you would be open and supportive of his less than platonic relationship with Keith. I’ve seen it up close and personal over the years and what they have is actually quite beautiful, he’s had a much healthier, happier time with him than he’s had with any woman I’ve ever seen him with in fifteen years. Just giving everyone a head’s up about True Blood -by the final episode Bill and Sookie have reunited. I don’t know how or why but Anna and Stephen filmed a love scene last week which from what I heard was pretty awkward because they were switching from close-up shots using Anna to full-length shots using a body double. The plan for going into Season 6 was always to have the “core couple” back together. The producers feel the show has suffered without that romantic anchor. Why they couldn’t transition Alex into that role or what this means for character I don’t know. I’m just so disgusted, and I feel like I’m biting the hand because I’m occasionally employed by this show and it’s probably the kindest group of people anywhere in town and that’s like the rarest thing in the world. But as a viewer and fan of the show I’m really bummed.

Lets face it at this time we all know now that AB TB is Bill and Sookie because Anna and Steve are a couple sadly that’s a huge mistake because Anna and Steve on screen chemistry is sh**. Sookie’s character gave Eric’s character a big 5 days and then broke his heart. Too be honest, the way they have portrayed the Sookie character, she doesn’t really deserve Eric.
I am really hoping that with AB gone and other people in charge, they will give us what the majority of us have wanted and that is Eric and Sookie. I think they could have some amazing storylines with Eric and Sookie together.
I think Charlene Harris is kicking herself for not getting a bigger say in these scripts.
I am just going to enjoy the rest of this season, because AS is just killing it once again and without AB there, you can see how he is truly shining this year once again. In my opinion without AS there is no TB.
Also I cannot wait to we get release dates on his upcoming films.

Yes, he might have some other projects down the road, but TB was his baby; it just seems even in interviews you look at from the beginning and from the end of his reign, he changed so much and became so bitter, you really feel after listening to him how hard it was working for him, it seems like nobody could tell him anything, he had a way he wanted it and that was that.
I never thought they would make the Sookie character into such an annoying woman, I mean thank heavens for the character of Pam, she is strong and takes no nonesense.
I mean look at what Sookie did to Eric, it would have been a better storyline if she gave him a chance, not tossed him aside because he got his mind back.

@Strange: If they’re not done, they will be very soon, I think they started filming it the middle of June. Usually about 10 days per episode, though in a recent interview Stephen mentioned that it can take up to 20 days.

@Mia: I think the Ifrit will be connect to LaLa, for some reason. Apparently in one of the many google search on ifrit that happened last night it was found that the ifrit are jinn, and that daughters of lillith are also considered jinn, so they may be trying to link them in some way. Or not.
