Vanessa Hudgens Likes Roles with a 'Harsh & Hard Element'

Vanessa Hudgens hangs onto beau Austin Butler while heading to Aroma Coffee & Tea on Friday (June 15) in Studio City, Calif.

The day before, the couple dined at Kings Road Cafe where the 23-year-old actress carried some food to-go.

Vanessa recently opened up a bit more about her role as a college student turned bank robber in the upcoming Spring Breakers.

“I’ve been recently doing a few projects that are darker, deeper and heavier,” she told Glamour South Africa. “Reading these situations in the movie where our characters rob people, which has such a harsh and hard element, was something that I just liked.”
