Rodrigo Santoro: 'Da Man' Magazine Feature

Rodrigo Santoro smoulders in his feature in the June/July 2012 issue of Da Man magazine, on newsstands now.

Here’s what the 36-year-old Brazilian actor had to share with the magazine:

On what inspires him: “I am inspired by life in general. I have a lot of admiration for many artists, but the biggest source of inspiration is life and human beings, I am driven. The experiences and interactions between humans drive and educate me to grow and mature through each experience.”

On happiness: “Some people say happiness is an emotion, but I believe happiness is long-lasting enjoyment of life. It is being in love with living.”

Gorgeous and very HOT HOT HOT.

  • Julia

Rodrigo is amazing and deserves more than just the latino’s characters. Hollywood, wake up!

  • haha

Julia, it’s not just the way he looks that gives him latino characters… it’s his accent. He will never play an american if when he speaks he sound like a brazilian speaking english. Jessica Alba is latina but she can play american characters since she doesn’t have an accent. It’s common sense.

  • haha

  • Julia

Don’t be stupid. His accent is normal. Just notice all the non-american actors. Always has a bit of accent and that’s pretty charming. Better than the noising american accent.

  • Lori

    My word, he is beautiful!

  • haha

Learn how to talk to others, honey! I’m not saying his accent is not normal, I’m just saying that it’ll be stupid for directors to have Rodrigo play american characters if he doesn’t sound like an AMERICAN! That’s why I’m pretty sure he is working with professionals to lose his accent so he can expand his jobs in the US. You gotta understand the industry. Things have to make sense, you know? It’s not me and It’s not you that is gonna change this.

  • Rachel

Whatever what he will be playing… He is UNBELIEVEBLE HOT! I love him… His accent, his voice, his body… He is a very sexy latin guy, without a doubt!

Ok.. I really don’t think he’s got such a strong accent. I mean, if compared to other foreign actors such as Antonio Banderas, Rodrigo is doing fine. Besides, Banderas has played many leading roles in films despite his accent. In my opinion talent is what really counts and Santoro is surely very talented. It doesn’t matter if he is playing latino or American characters. The man is good and I am sure he still has a lot to show.
