OlderChris Pine Talks '50 Shades of Grey' on 'Tonight Show'
Chris Pine suits up for his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday (June 22) in Los Angeles.
During his interview, the 31-year-old actor (in Brunello Cucinelli) addressed rumors about him playing the sexy lead in the film adaptation of the novel “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

“So has every woman read this book?” Chris joked when host Jay Leno brought up the topic. He went on to say that the idea was brought up to him on a red carpet, but he is indeed, “not doing it.”
Chris later added that he would go nude in a film, saying, “If it was pivotal for the art, I’d get my acting coach and we’d work it out.”

I would love to see Chris Pine as Christian also . Hell I would love to see him go NUDE in almost any movie. But if I can’t have Chris as Christian I would love to see Michael Fassbender or Alexander Skarsgard. Hell Eric (Alex Skarsgard) already has a “red room of pain ” . No matter can’t wait to see the movie . :D
Chris Pine is smart and knows it would be a terrible career move, this book should not be a movie their are so many amazing books that deserve the spotlight. not this poorly written fanfiction.

HELLO F’N NOOOOOOOOO! Let them play an UNKNOWN like Douglas Booth who has the youthful beauty of Christian Grey and can actually act. But I rather see Gabriel Aubrey for this part as a mature 27 who is such a beautiful sexy and brooding soul but he’s not an actor – sad.
I think Michael Fassbender would be the best. He’s got that naughty spark in his eyes and he’s unafraid of nudity. And he’s got stuff to show! ;)

He’s very charming in this interview. :) (the whole thing – not just the 50 shades part.) I think it’s clear he doesn’t want to slag something he’s never seen a script for, but at the same time I don’t think it’s on his radar. Which is just fine with me! (I’d rather a ripped-shirt Kirk getting things done than a nude fan-fic Don Juan.)

I am hoping for scenes of a shirtless James Kirk in the next Star Trek film (without any fast cutting). After all, why beef up and work out extensively if not to show off all that extra buff?
Chris Pine has just naturally filled out as you do when you reach a certain age – men actually stop growing when they get to between 30 and 33. Women mature differently. Losing the tie will instantly decrease the apparent increased weight in the face. When will these guys and others learn?…sigh.
