Lana Del Rey's 'National Anthem' Video - Watch Now!

Lana Del Rey channels former First Lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis in her just released “National Anthem” video.

The 26-year-old singer teamed up with rapper A$AP Rocky, who plays President John F. Kennedy in the Anthony Mandler-directed clip.

“Every so often, I top what I’ve done, and this video is definitely the most beautiful thing I’ve ever done,” Lana previously said.

“It’s some cool trippy s—, some real 2015 s—,” Rocky added. “People are gonna get it in like three years, and that’s the whole purpose of it.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK of Lana Del Rey’s “National Anthem” video?

    Nah, I actually think she has some talent. She doesn’t just depend on a wacky wardrobe for attention.

    it’s nicely done, i think i get it but i think it would’ve been more effective if she was the one who got shot in the end or if no one got shot at all.

    @rada Says:

    It’s channeling JFK’s life and assassination–she’s Jackie O, A$AP is John.
    JFK has to be the one who gets shot.

    I really, really like Lana Del Rey, but I think this video is extremely distasteful. Don’t mean to sound uptight–I enjoy powerful, thought-provoking imagery, but to me, this falls under crass.

    Good style, perfect performance, beautiful colors. But I don’t believe in that story, such a fake in comparison with the idea they wanted to show

    Honestly, I don’t care if she had plastic surgeries, who she’s friends with or how she became famous. It’s none of my business. I just absolutely love her music and her voice is so hypnotizing I could just listen to her all the time. That’s what matters and she deserves do be praised for her music not being critisized for the way she leads her life.

    i know what it’s channeling, i personally think “channeling” a president’s assassination for the sake of art is in poor taste. that’s why i suggested a different route.

    Wow I really liked that. But seriously, where is the Summertime Sadness video. That is her best song. Maybe she’ll release it at the end of summer? That would be a little lame though. Anyways, she looks so pretty in this video!
