Jared Leto: I'll Never See A Check For Online Music Services

Jared Leto hangs out with some pals on the beach on Wednesday (July 4) in Malibu, Calif.

The 40-year-old 30 Seconds to Mars front man wore a tank top that read “Malibu” in block letters over a sweatshirt.

Jared recently spoke about his opinion of online streaming services, such as Spotify.

“I’ve never seen a check for any streaming service and I doubt I ever will,” Jared said in a recent interview. “That’s okay, I don’t think everything has to be monetized, especially with music. I think there’s a great deal of it that can be shared. I think people are willing to pay for things that they consider valuable.”

Jared can be the best actor or singer in the world (btw I love 30STM) but he will always be my Jordan Catalano…

I know your music is going quite well, but please take a break and get cast as Christian Grey in “Fifty Shades” Only YOU Jared could give this character justice!

How can he see a check for online music services if he did not sign any contract with Youtube Vevo, Beatport or iTunes? I am sure he does not need those money, a nice idea would be to donate the money made from online music services to a hospital, in this way everyone will have to benefit from that.
