A new trailer for Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone‘s Gangster Squad has been released!
The crime drama hits theaters September 7 – we can’t wait to see it! Here’s a synopsis:
Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and – if he has his way – every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control.
It’s enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop…except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O’Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen’s world apart.

Casting Gosling as a gangster lmao.
Looks stupid, who wrote those dumb lines. What a waste of a great cast -. Penn, Brolin, Nolte, not so sure about Gosling though, he sounds stupid.
gosling should be more then just be “hot”….he is a very good actor and all these “sexiest man alive” **** is ruin it for him….i loved him in the years of 2007-2009 with “half nelson”, “lars and the real girl” and “stay” now he will be cast only to look good its disgusting he is not zac efron that guy has real talent

I hate Gosling’s voice in this. He should have just talked normally.
@MrsKutcher: I get your point. He is a great actor, and all these women calling him hot because of Crazy Stupid Love (one of the worst movies he has been in) are annoying. I loved Lars & The Real Girl and especially Half Nelson too. But, I do not think that from now on he will be cast only to look good. He didn’t look so good on the second part of Blue Valentine. Sure, he will try to choose other type of roles in the future.
