Feel so bad for Katie. Such a horrible tough life. Shopping, site seeing, playing with Suri, travelling, shopping…oh I said that already. Never has to worry about paying any bills making ends meet. Why you ask, because she got pregnant by a RICH and FAMOUS GUY. As for the pap’s, she loves getting her picture taken. Playing the whole. I’m such a devoted mother who was taken advantage of by Tom Cruise. Gimme a break. Where would she be if she hadn’t have met Tom. She be on the “where are they now” sites. Wishing for a “big break”.

@nancyw: Just thinking the same thing and her friend should be even more uncomfortable since it isn’t an everyday occurrence for her. Also, Suri seems fine sometimes with Paps but other times, like this, she is being carried, so is it the Paps, tantrum, spoiled or what?

It is obvious the paps are tormenting this girl, calling her name, saying things to her…that is pathetic that this class of disgusting people don’t all die. People should not click or comments on stories like that. I am making an exception here just to suggest people not to do that. This girl has a right to go out in the street peacefully and not feel threatened by strangers.

Same people come here and make the same comments about Katie calling the paps and why why why? It’s her fault, it’s the paps fault, it’s the bloggers fault. Guess what it’s your… It’s your fault too for coming back day in and out to make the same comments. Bunch of hypocrites, that’s who you are and you know who you are. You love the drama, you love seeing Suri carried but mom so you can comment, you love Katie even though you ask the bloggers to stop peting pictures of her, if not you’d move on!

Homely apparently maintains the business and friendship with Jeanne Yang, who’s Tommygirl’s stylist. Jeanne Yang even sends her daughter to accompany Stimming for outings. So much for so-called disconnection.

Now this no talent ex-beard of no principle gets to push Suri to the paps EVERYDAY!!! Give it up already. The 15 minutes of post divorce highlight may end fairly soon. Nothing real for this no talent ex-Beard will ever realize.

Ok…Can people truly not see this woman is deplorable not sparing her own child from these psycho paps. She supposedly wanted to protect her child from Scientologist but for mass media attention that’s ok to parade Suri in front of crazy paps. Does everyone realize there are camera flashes going off and these paparazzi are usually verbally shouting at these celebs for a photo?

Katie wants to be in the spotlight and is willing to sell out her own child’s mental state for it!

At least in no way can anyone blame Tom for these photo ops.

It’s looking like her financial settlement might not have been very much since she’s using Suri to keep the attention on her. She’s a bad mother putting her child through this every single day. The paps aren’t going away so it’s Katie’s responsiblity to get Suri away for where the paps are. Other much bigger A+ list stars are able to protect their kids. This is just shameful. Some celebrity kids don’t surface until they’re adults and then nobody is interested anymore. Michelle Pfeffer’s kids are grown now and there have never been photos anywhere of them. The same can be said for Annette Bening’s kids. You never see them. You never see Lisa Marie Presley’s kids and the list is long. Katie wants attention.

@Cookie_Monster: I actually being in the spot light is also a way to protect her and Suri, even it’s not the best way…. If she goes to a place that no one knows anything can happen to her and no one knows as well. She is a smart girt, like you said. Her and her child’s safety come first

I think its good that Katie is focusing on Suri this week. She’s taken her to the museum (where there must be some kind of art classes available), and the Central Park Zoo, and her gymnastics class which is in Chelsea Piers near where they now live. But looking at this picture you can see the tiredness on Suri’s face. She probably is not sleeping well although in the past she looked like she didn’t get enough sleep. The good thing is that she is exercising and strengthing her body.

Maybe, the reason why Katie is taking Suri out everyday, is because she wants to show Tom & his supporters what a devoted mother she is!
That way, Tom will have a harder time later to prove that he would be the better parent!
I just think that Tom is not going to roll over for anyone. This whole divorce situation has been too easy.
I feel that we have not heard the last of Tom! Just my opinion.

Looks like Katie took Suri and her friend to lunch and then to FAO Scwhartz and bought them some stuffed animals. Looks like Suri’s friend whos carrying at least two stuffed animals took Katie at her word and picked something out for herself. I know (or think) that Katie has more money than Jeanne Yang but I think I would hate to feel I have to buy my daughter things so they can hang around her. You figure Katie or Cruise paid the entrance to the museum, plus lunch, plus toys at FAO Schawrtz and the other day with the other kids they also all walked out with bags from the museum and Alice’s Tea Cup which starts to add up. Hope Suri doesn’t grow up thinking she always has to pick up the tab.

The divorce is settled. Katie has nothing else to prove to Tom or anybody plus all eyes are on toms “church” and they aren’t going anywhere near katie.. she justs loves attention.

I think she’s going to realize soon or later (hopefully), that she will have to leave NYC to give Suri a normal life. Her family is in Ohio. She could move back there and still commute to and from work if she ever gets another acting part. Plenty of family there to take care of Suri.

Hopefully Suri is not permanently damaged from all the media exposure.

@Lynn: I don’t think that Katie looks rough and sad. She looks happier than she has in years!! She had plenty of time to think this through.

I can’t believe that big girl is holding her hands up like a baby to be picked up by her mother. This is sad, folks. Really painful to watch.

Katie needs to act like a parent and tell this child she is too big to be carried. It looks terrible. Is she going to be carrying her when she is ten? 14? 20?

Katie is playing the “Look what a great mom I am” role. Doesn’t anyone find it kind of strange that suddenly Katie is taking Suri to lots of kid friendly places? Don’t tell me that before the divorce filing she wasn’t able to go to the zoo or to a museum. She did nothing but shop and stop at sweet shops with Suri and bring her out late at night for dinners and shows. This is all carefully orchestrated – just like the divorce.

@Just so: Victoria Beckham has a very successful line. All of the other stars wear her clothes. I have seen Katie wear some of her own designs, and they look like clothes that were made in a junior high Home Economics class!!

@nancyw: Starting to wonder if the kid is a hired actress WHICH would explain the lack of concern for the pap’s and their cameras. Something to think about.

Others have commented on Suri always looking fearful. Here is my take (just a guess). Suri has had no formal schooling, daycare or socializing with children in her six short years. This, in and of itself, would have a profound effect on a child. Along with not having any social interactions with children, that goes as well for limited social outings. I suspect that is why you see Katie taking her out a lot. Trying to expose her to everyday life and other people outside of the Scientology world. Of all the paparazzi photos I’ve seen of celebrity children, I’ve never seen a child react so viscerally as Suri. I suspect she has been told to fear them, verbally or non-verbally, but something has been said that has made her unusually fearful. I think Katie is doing the right thing, exposing her to everyday life (different people, children, etc.) I suspect you’ll begin to see her react differently to her environment.

@lucy: Holmes is not interested in suing. Since Suri has been an infant, Holmes has been more than willing to offer her up for public consumption on a daily basis. Odd, but she doesn’t appear to me that this intrusion is in Suri’s “best interests.” Shame on her!

God everybody is so jealous of this woman. First of all, if you live in NYC, especially Manhattan, you get out and enjoy what Manhattan has to offer. Million of things for kids to do and see. Suri is enrolled in a private school starting this Sept. The paps park the money grubbing azzes in front of celebrity houses waiting to pounce. They are vultures, the killed Diana. Who was the genius that said she should go to the Hamptons to get away from the paps. My God, that’s the one place you want to avoid. With so many celebrities there, I think there’s more paps there than in NYC.

I don’t think Katie is calling the paps. But they know where she lives. I do however think she should try to avoid all these daily pics. Not sure what the point is now. She is divorcing and is moving on. Fine, but why the need to be seen every single day with your child. Suri obviously doesn’t like it. And I for one think it is wrong for her to be letting children that are not her child be photographed. We know that other celebs’ children have friends and play dates. It is now looking like Katie is eating all the attention up. Enjoying it a bit too much. I know this story is still big, but I don’t think it will be much longer.People are going to get tired of seeing her.That could be her point. But even if it is I don’t see this helping her career. Katie was interesting for 2 reasons. 1 she was married to Tom and 2 she is the mother of his child. That may sound harsh but it is the truth.

She need to lay low. People are not going to see her in movies if all they need to do is check a gossip site every single day for pictures.

So now the Catholics have a hold of Suri…., indoctrinating her. Divorce stating neither can speak about Toms religion, then why is she allowed to indoctrinate her in a Catholic school.
