The summer anthem serves as the first official single for the 26-year-old singer, who is also known as Adam Young, from his new album The Midsummer Station.
“This song really felt like a duet and if it wasn’t for anybody than Carly Rae it wouldn’t be half as magical,” Adam expressed. “I knew I wanted a strong female lead for it and her name popped up and all of a sudden it was magic. Now that it’s finally done, I can’t believe it actually happened.”
