Christian Bale and his wife Sibi Blazic take a moment at the memorial for the victims of last week’s tragic shooting on Tuesday (July 24) in Aurora, Colo.
The 38-year-old star of Dark Knight Rises and his wife laid a bouquet of flowers at the memorial.

He did an amazing thing by going to visit the victims in Aurora. He didn’t have to and yet he went out of the kindness of his heart.

Have to admit, I wasn’t the biggest fan of him. After this I’ve changed my mind. Truly a great guy who cares and shows respect. Gotta love him for that. I’m truly impressed.

His wife seems so moved by it. He’s a wonderful man and I’m glad he and his wife are taking the time to give back to the people who died in this horrible and tragic situation.

He was obvi pressured by people and celebs to come and do this. He just didn’t wear the Batman suit.
I usually think celebrities are a bunch of self-centered imbeciles, but this man is a class act and has earned all my respect. Enough said.
@bahha black sheep: I don’t think that’s true. The Denver Post interviewed an administrator at the hospital he visited. The administrator said Christian specifically asked that the media NOT be notified of his visit. I think he just wanted to show his support for the victims. And I bet they appreciated his visit.
Kudos to talented and hot Bale. I truly believe this tragedy had a huge impact on him and that he did this with conviction.
I feel sorry for the cast and crew. They made a movie that they could be proud of and it should be an exciting time for them. Then this sick maniac comes along and hurts all these innocents people just out for a night of fun. I wish words could express my sorrow and heartache for the lives lost and for those injured, as well as their bereaved families.

Great guy! Not only is he the best batman ever! But he’s an amazing guy. I haven’t always been a fan of his but now he’s got a fan for life.

He didn’t need to work on his “PR”. The incident didn’t hurt the movie or the cast, no one is to blame but the piece of *bleep* who committed the act. Christian and his wife are in my opinion just paying their respects, due to the connection.
