Keira recently talked about reconsidering taking roles in blockbuster films in the latest issue of Empire magazine.

“It comes to a point where you think, “What kind of film can I make that will allow me to live a proper life?” And those tentpole movies make it difficult,” Keira expressed to the mag. “You can’t complain about the attention you’re getting while still doing the films that invite the most attention. I do actually love blockbusters but that decision has a lot that comes with it that I’m not prepared to go with.”

    I don’t get why ppl think she’s hot. She looks like a man and she has the weirdest body.

    Barbara Says:

    I have tremendous respect for her. She’s a great actress and very intelligent to boot. I get her reluctance to do blockbusters given how insane the paparazzi can get. Given she’s done some very good films and given great performances in them, I don’t think she needs blockbusters.

    Why so mean? Says:

    @Barbara: No need to be so mean. I don’t think people refer to her as “hot” like you say. She has a pretty face and is a wonderful actress. She has a waif like beauty… her roles are usually intelligent women whose beauty is secondary to their character.

    @Why so mean?: Oops, sorry Barbara my comment was meant for NIKA, the mean one.

    She has an infectious smile… like her most as she matures. She keeps getting better.

    She is pretty and sweet, and she has an amazing career for her age. For sure, one of the actresses whose work I will be always following.

    She has done great roles and seems very down to Earth… And her beauty is not obvious, what makes her even more interesting.

    Keira should star in a blockbuster now that every pap in the world will be busy tracking down Kristen Stewart.

    Edge Says:

    Which is just as well because she’s horribly fidgety and affected in most roles. Seriously, haven’t seen her in anything vaguely decent since The Jacket.

    @Edge:

    Nothing decent since “The Jacket”? Haven’t you seen “A Dangerous Method”??? and before that “The Duchess” ??? In these movies she’s absolutely stunning! Her role in ” A dangerous Method” took my breath away, literarily ! I think she’s one f the most talented actress of her generation. She doesn’t do movies for money or celebrity, she does what she thinks is a good movie and I respect her for that.
    And she really is down to earth and really sweet for I met her twice.
