Katharine McPhee blows on her nails after getting them painted while filming scenes for Smash on Thursday (July 26) in New York City.
The day before, the 28-year-old actress was spotted working in the same areas with co-stars Jack Davenport and Megan Hilty.

“Shooting in Times Square…were not drawing too much attention to ourselves at all!” Katharine tweeted along with a pic of a crowd of people.
It was recently announced that writer Josh Safran, would be joining the staff. He previously worked on Gossip Girl.
