    Rachel Weisz ‘loves’ marriage
Rachel Weisz loves the feeling of being in a committed marriage.

The actress and Daniel Craig tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in June last year, after dating for just six months.

Rachel was previously engaged to filmmaker Darren Aronofsky and they have a son, Henry, together. The star appreciates the stability of her marriage to Daniel.

“I love being married. I like it better than the concubinage of my previous relationship,” she told German TV magazine TV Movie, before adding that she never discusses her job with her husband.

“We both like our work but acting is a pretty boring topic.”

Rachel leads a busy life, with both her and Daniel starring in some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters. The 42-year-old star makes a conscious effort to communicate with her family.

“I always try to have everyone with me. If that’s not possible, we Skype,” she said.

Princes “kept in dark” over Queen’s 007 film role
The world watched in amazement last Friday night as Her Majesty the Queen joined Daniel Craig in The Olympic Games Opening Ceremony’s now infamous Bond scene. Princes Harry and William have admitted, though that they were kept totally in the dark when it came to their grandmother’s part in the skit and even joked that she is starring in the next film!
(Reuters) – Queen Elizabeth’s film debut as a “Bond girl” at the London Olympic opening ceremony was such a success that the British monarch has been asked to perform in the next 007 film, her grandsons joked on Friday.

Prince William and his younger brother Harry said they were as much surprised by their grandmother’s appearance alongside Britain’s most famous fictional spy James Bond as the tens of millions watching on their televisions and the 60,000 sitting in the stadium.

In one of the most memorable parts of the evening, the Queen, in a pre-recorded clip, was shown being escorted by actor Daniel Craig from Buckingham Palace to a waiting helicopter after uttering the immortal words “Good evening Mr Bond”.

They then appeared to jump out of the helicopter before landing in Olympic Park.

“To be honest we were kept completely in the dark about it, that’s how big the secret was,” William told BBC television.

“I mean Harry got a sniff of a rumor on the night, and we were talking about it, going ‘nah’ this probably isn’t happening.

“But in fact she did such a good performance that she has now been asked to star in the next Bond film, so I’m thrilled for her.”

Showing the same understated sense of humor as their grandmother, Harry added: “Both of us were slightly surprised with our grandmother’s secret hobby that she had of parachuting, which I think went down unbelievably well.

“You don’t expect the Queen to do something like that.

“What she does in her spare time is, you know, that’s her spare time.

“But I think unbelievably good sport for her to do that.

“I can’t quite believe it when I see those pictures back.”

The surprise scenes, shot in Buckingham Palace and featuring the Queen alongside Bond star Daniel Craig, proved to be some of the most memorable in the extravaganza last Friday.

Sam Mendes Talks Daniel Craig’s James Bond & The Scale Of ‘Skyfall’
Following this weeks release of the films first two theatrical trailers, the latest cover story for Entertainment Weekly features an interview with director Sam Mendes for the forthcoming 23rd James Bond adventure, ‘Skyfall.’ The interview is a part of EW’s 26-page feature devoted to celebrating 50 years of big screen 007 adventures. Talking about the epic scale of a James Bond movie, Mendes (American Beauty, Revolutionary Road, Road to Perdition) revealed, “I came from smaller movies. I’ve done movies on a bigger scale, but not as big a scale as this. … It’s weird because you come in and someone has already explored the role, and so you’re not in that position of starting on equal footing. But I was very clear about what I felt he hadn’t yet done. We thought exactly the same about where the character could be taken.”

Sam Mendes also humoured EW’s question of whether or not Daniel Craig is “presented as a hot individual in this film,” saying, “How can you not present him as a hot individual? He is a hot individual! You mean, are there any bod shots? How can I put this? Yes, I guess there are moments when he is [hot], absolutely. But the truth is… It’s tied in… There’s a reason in the story why…I can’t say!” Alongside Mendes’ interview talking on ‘Skyfall,’ the issue also includes a gallery of rare, behind-the-scenes photographs annotated by longtime Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, a guide to all 22 official James Bond movies to date, a round-up of Bond’s greatest gadgets, a map revealing every place 007 has visited on planet earth (and elsewhere), an interview with George Lazenby, and an opening essay by EW writer and 007 nut Ben Svetkey.

‘Skyfall’ sees Daniel Craig and Judi Dench continue their roles as James Bond and M. The cast also includes Naomie Harris as a field agent named Eve, Javier Bardem as “Silva” the lead villain, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw as Q, Tonia Sotiropoulou, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner; the MI6 Chief of Staff, Ola Rapace, Bérénice Marlohe as the “glamorous and enigmatic” Sévérine, and Ralph Fiennes as Gareth Mallory – who’s been described as “darkly complex.” I’ve got high hopes for ‘Skyfall,’ I loved the trailers and I’m a huge fan of Daniel Craig’s incarnation of James Bond. This latest 007 chapter was shot at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, Scotland, Whitehall in London, Shanghai and Istanbul. The screenplay is written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan. ‘Skyfall’ will begin its worldwide roll-out in the UK and Ireland on October 26th, with a North American release following on November 9th. The Director of Photography is Roger Deakins, a nine-time Oscar nominee who previously shot the films ‘Jarhead’ and ‘Revolutionary Road’ for Mendes. Composer Thomas Newman will score the film. Check out the synopsis and production notes for ‘Skyfall’ below.

I found this video, in the first scene he looks like Julian who often wears a hat, in the second scene he smiles like Daniel – like a sun.

Rachel Weisz on Daniel Craig: “I love being married to Daniel, it’s very grounding”
I’m sorry, but I just think Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are the hottest celebrity couple going at this point. Yes, they got together under suspicious circumstances. Yes, Daniel is a curmudgeon who loves to complain. But… my God, I bet their sex life is incredible. I bet it’s crazy. How could it not be crazy? Anyway, Rachel is promoting The Bourne Legacy these days – it comes out this week. And she’s been giving some interesting interviews too – she sat down with Hello Magazine, and she ended up talking about Daniel more than she ever has before. Because the orgasms are just THAT powerful.

What she finds attractive in a man: “There is something incredibly sexy about a man who is good at what he does. Ask any woman and she’ll agree that to see a man be really talented in his line of work is amazingly attractive. I’m not sure it necessarily works the other way, that men are so interested in that quality in a woman… but we women, we love talent in our men.”

On Daniel: “I love being married to Daniel… It’s a wonderful feeling of stability and it’s very grounding. I mean, it hasn’t made more domestic or anything – just being married doesn’t suddenly make you able to cook – but I am very happy right now. Extremely happy, in fact.”

On her relationship to Darren Aronofsky: “I was living in sin. We did talk about getting married, how we’d do it, what kind of ceremony we’d have, but somehow we never found the time to make up our minds and actually tie the knot.”

Working with Daniel Craig 20 years ago on a play: They’d kept in casual contact ever since. Neither is about to divulge what happened on the moonlit nights in Canada while filming Dream House, but they emerged a couple and around a year later, they married in New York.

Running in The Bourne Legacy: “I have to do a lot of running in the film and the hardest thing I had to learn was how not to run like a girl. Apparently, because women’s hips are wider than men’s it means our feet turn out when we run and I really had to work on that. I was difficult.”

On her son, Henry: “He not really interested in what I do. When I was shooting Oz, I said, ‘Come and see me, Mommy’s going to fly, want to come and watch?’ and he just didn’t care. That’s fine – he has his own fantasy life, which is much richer than anything he can see in the movies. And why should movies be so special to him? His dad makes them all the time. And… well, his stepdad is James Bond, isn’t he?”

She finds many actresses attractive: ”Acting is a different world. I find women sexier on screen than men. ‘People like Gena Rowlands, Juliette Binoche and Cate Blanchett. ‘When you work with actors, you don’t find them particularly sexy. Brendan Fraser, in ‘The Mummy’, for example, is very gentle for a big action man. Almost courtly, in fact. ‘He is quite mysterious, with a lot going on in his head.”

Being grounded: ”I think being a mum has completely grounded me. Being a mum is just delicious.

[From Contact Music and Hello Magazine, print edition]

Is the running thing true, or did they just tell her that because they were startled by her duck-like run? Whatever. As for all of her lovely-dovey talk about Daniel… I told you. It’s the sex. They’re still in the “OMG, we have to bone all the time” phase. And it’s hot.

    New Behind-the-Scenes Photos From Skyfall
Thanks to MI6-HQ, we’ve got a look at a new book by Greg Williams titled Bond on Set: Filming Skyfall. While the book is set to be released a few weeks prior to the film, you can take a look at some of photos you’ll get from it below.

  56. 56
    Fio Says:

Greg Williams, the world renowned photographer whose candid on set pictures have formed the basis of photo-books to accompany the last three Bond movies, returns with his fourth, SKYFALL: BOND ON SET

How does your role differ from that of the Unit Photographer?
I’ve worked on over 100 feature films, and I shoot what’s called “the specials” where I go in for a few days and shoot coverage for the press, as opposed to the Unit Photographer who’s there all the time. The Unit Photographer also shoots stills from the scenes that actually go into the movie – my pictures are more behind-the-scenes.

What was it like working with Sam Mendes?
At the beginning I was scared of getting under his feet. The last thing anyone needs on a movie set is another photographer because you get in people’s eyeline and that can make some people uncomfortable but Sam was a jolly nice bloke, he obviously knows exactly what he wants and you can see why he’s at the very top of this game. There was such attention to detail. One day they were shooting a scene where a load of guns get fired into the roof of an office block but after they shot it Sam thought the way the plaster fell wasn’t quite right so they reshot it just so the plaster fell off the ceiling in a particular way. Other people might look at it and go, “That’s all right, move on’” but Sam wanted it to be perfect which is something I really admire. That’s an example of the meticulous attention to detail he brings to Bond.

When you’re taking pictures do you find yourself getting into some strange positions?
Oh definitely. It’s always funny to watch the movies back because when you’re watching a big action scene you’re thinking, “Oh, I’m behind that door”. In one scene there were helicopters coming in so low that at one point I suddenly had 100-knot winds hitting me and it felt like I could hover off the ground. It’s also funny when you’re on the phone doing a business call and suddenly a load of machine guns go off in the background. To anyone else that would seem like an odd thing but for me that’s perfectly normal.

How hard is it to edit the pictures down?
I find it very difficult and I’ve learnt over the years that I have to just let go otherwise you drive yourself a bit crazy. You can’t be too precious about these things. The first version of the book had 400 spreads so that’s 800 pages and it’s now 208 pages. I lay out the pictures that I think are worth looking at then the approval process starts and the pictures get cut down.

What was the hardest thing for you to photograph on this movie?
The scenes in the skyscraper in China were incredibly frustrating to photograph. It was so well lit and looked so amazing on camera but the lights were always moving, there were skyscrapers, which were fronted with enormous TV screens so the light constantly changed. It’s visually stunning but was incredibly difficult to get a still picture as it required a movie camera to capture it properly.

What was the most exciting day on set?
The day they did the London Underground crash was awe-inspiring. The craftsmanship in that stunt is incredible. They had this camera that could shoot the train coming towards it and then if it was going to keep going they had an emergency release that could yank the camera out of the way. I think the train stopped four inches before the concrete wall so to have this enormous thing and to get it to stop in the right spot was quite amazing. No one was allowed to be inside the tunnel so my cameras were on remotes for those shots. We were in the stairwell watching it on TV screens firing off the camera remotely. With my shots you see bricks flying towards the camera and I’m sure they were bouncing off of the camera too. I used my cheaper camera for that one.

Are you worried you will miss shots?
You miss them all of the time but my job is to try not to miss all of them. Also I don’t work with a blimp, which is a soundproof box that goes around the camera and allows you to photograph while they are filming. I always see my role as photographing the process of filmmaking, so I’m everything either side of “action” and “cut”. I like that the Unit Photographer and I have two different jobs.

There’s a great picture in the book of Daniel Craig taking a photograph of you taking a picture of him…
He loves photography, that camera he’s using is probably better than any camera I own. He’s a good photographer; I’m massively concerned he’s going to take my job. When you go away with Daniel the one thing he’s carrying onto the plane is his camera bag. We talk about lenses and kit a lot.

You started your career taking in photojournalism taking pictures in war zones like Chechnya and Sierra Leone has that helped when working on film sets?
I’ve seen a lot of disturbing things in my life so it doesn’t make me braver at all. I’m such a coward these days, but the one thing that it does teach you is that you are working in the entertainment industry and you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously.

SKYFALL: BOND ON SET will be available from DK Books on October 1st, 2012 at £25.00

    The Stylish Gentlemen: Daniel Craig
Known for his good looks, piercing blue eyes and understated style, Daniel Craig has been on the fashion industry’s radar for a while. He is a master of pairing tailored pieces with casual wear to create his own unique look. That’s why Daniel Craig is August’s ‘Stylish Gentleman’.

The 44–year-old is best known for his role as James Bond, a character which many doubted he would suit. However he quickly proved all critics wrong, as his debut in Casino Royale was highly acclaimed and earned him a BAFTA award nomination, with the film becoming the highest grossing in the series to date.

Craig describes his portrayal of Bond as an anti-hero: “The question I keep asking myself while playing the role is, ‘Am I the good guy or just a bad guy who works for the good side?’ Bond’s role, after all, is that of an assassin when you come down to it. I have never played a role in which someone’s dark side shouldn’t be explored.”

In celebration of the new Bond film Skyfall, which is being released on ***, and also of his impeccable style, we bring you an insight into the wardrobe of Daniel Craig.

As well as the new film, another highlight for Craig this year was the Olympic Games’ opening ceremony. Combining fact with fiction, the film featured Craig’s James Bond opposite Queen Elizabeth II, and showed them travelling together to the stadium and arriving at the ceremony via a triumphant jump out of a helicopter, which amazed and amused everyone across the globe.

When one is in the spotlight, it is most important to make sure that one’s hair is coiffed, clothes pristine and shoes shiny, to always make a good impression. If you’re on the red carpet as much as Daniel Craig is, then appearance is everything. But in this article, we also look at his ‘off duty’ looks, which are equally as stylish as his evening attire.

    Luxe leather

When Daniel attended the world premiere for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, he added a new dimension to his look. We loved the long leather coat, which was perfect for a cold evening. It adds an air of sophistication to the outfit, without being overbearing. The white shirt and grey tie work nicely, creating an understated, but stylish palette.

    Grey daze

At the European premiere of Defiance, our stylish gentleman was sharp and pristine in a grey suit, which is a look that really suits Mr Craig. Complete with black smart shoes, which offset his ensemble, this look makes for a change from the monochrome suit, which is so easy to wear to a red carpet event.

    Street style

Out and about in the street, Daniel still looks as suave as ever. He pairs a thick dark-grey knitted cardigan with dark-wash jeans for the perfect London Look. We particularly like his Mulberry (Bicester Village) man bag, which is a great accessory for any gent-on-the-move.

Black and white on the night

Nobody wears a suit better than Bond does, except, of course, Daniel Craig. He pulled out all the stops in this tailored outfit, oozing sophistication. He even coordinated his arm strap with the suit. Very stylish, indeed.

    Shoes day

At the photocall for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Craig went for a smart casual look. His shoes were what really stood out for us in this picture, with the brown brogues adding the classic accent to this outfit. His stance is pure Bond here, but we think the dark jeans and light grey jumper are perfectly Mr Craig here.

    Hi Guinness,

    finally catching up here!

“…rabbits…across all the continents…” is there a club for that like the mile high club?”

If there were…my guess is that Mr Bond would be one of the…top scorers… ;)

“and, *sniff*sniff* no mention of my Blue-Bond new caption… sniff*sniff”

Did I not…oh no, I love the new caption (and the Avatar Blue Bond)

“With the vehicles crushed, police had no way to pursue Pion after he drove off in the tractor.”

Feet? Bikes? Horses? How fast was that tractor???

“you know what I’m talkin ’bout girls!!”

    Hehehe, yes…!

The film looks really good, but of course to you, a shirtless Daniel Craig is the most interesting thing about it.
