Katy‘s song “Wide Awake” just hit number one on the Top 40 chart! The song is her ninth single to top the charts. She was also just nominated for four MTV Video Music Awards – congrats, Katy!!

I heard this song and actually it is a very bad song and the music video is awful as well. I don’t get why her songs are so popular when they are so primitive and bad? Katy used to have some good songs at the beginning of her career, but not now.

This song blows. Katy Perry’s record label worked HARD to get this trash to #1. I hate her and I hate the song.
The Hot 100 doesn’t normally release info until late in the day. How do you know this? Is this some other chart? Or does Capitol already know it’s #1 because they bought it? Questions, questions!
