OlderNathan Adrian Wins Men's 100m Freestyle for Team USA!
Nathan Adrian celebrates after winning the gold medal for the Men’s 100m Freestyle on Day 5 of the 2012 Summer Olympics on Wednesday (August 1) at the Aquatics Centre in London, England.
The 23-year-old swimmer placed first ahead of Aussie favorite James Magnussen, who finished only a hundredth of a second behind Nathan. Canada’s Brent Hayden took the bronze.
That same day, Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps competed in the semifinals for the Men’s 200m Individual Medley, in which they placed first and third, respectively.
