Recently, CW president Mark Pedowitz spoke at the 2012 TCA tour, and made some comments about Sarah‘s cancelled show, Ringer.

“The fans are still writing me, they want it desperately” Mark said. “Twenty-two [episodes] might have been too many. So if there’s a consideration to redo it, we’d probably go anywhere from six to 13.”

I hope so. Toward the end it was really getting good. I was eager to see what season 2 would bring. I think 13 episodes would be better than 22. It’s one of the the reasons why I like British shows more. Their seasons are 13 episodes max so the story moves along at a quicker pace. 22 episodes allows the writers to draw it out and sometimes viewers get bored.

@anon: Agreed. At least, to give us some closure. Once they got the hang of it, the show was really good.

Would be nice to have a chance at an ending. Seriously it was just getting good. CW made a HUGE mistake…maybe another network?

The biggest shocker was the cancellation of The Secret Circle, which was The CW’s most successful new show, yet somehow it was Hart Of Dixie that was renewed. Oh well, I guess you gotta keep Josh Schwartz happy, so take that Kevin Williamson. As for Ringer, if for once this sort of talk is actually serious, then I’m all for it, bring on 6 to 13 more episodes!

I gotta say as soon as I learned what was shiv plan I was a bit disappointed , but compared to other show like new show ” Hart of Dixie ” , Ringer was very interesting ! It was not cheesy … 13 episodes would be great at least we’d get a closure , it ended so abruptly :c

I don’t see the point in bringing it back. The show simply didn’t connect with the CW target audience. It was the lowest rated show on the network, averaging a 0.4/0.5.

I really enjoyed Ringer. I think this show didn’t get enough viewers for the simple fact that the CW Network has gotten a bad reputation for being a young teen girl network. Ringer might have stayed on the air had it aired on it’s sister network CBS as was originally intended. I hope the CW president can bring Ringer back. It wouldn’t be the first time a cancelled series was brought back from the dead. Buffy, Roswell, Arrested Development … those are just some of the examples.

    Jo Says:

Loed Ringer! I agree that a shorter first season would have been better.

    Charles Says:

Why is she always alone where is her unemployed husband?

  19. 19
    Unkown Says:

    @Charles
Unemployed?! If you don’t even know…he’s filming a movie/animation film called Mass Effect Paragon Lost. What’s wrong with her going alone?! Plus, Freddie is staying with Charlotte…better than the other celebrities dad. way to go Freddie! He also said that if they had kids, he’d stop working as an actor for a while to take care of his children and let Sarah works.

    Freddie went hiking last week..

garbage like Hart of Dixie gets renewed but yet a clever show like The Secret Circle gets canceled … i have no respect for TheCW these days.

  23. 23
    Courtney Says:

@Kiss This that’s not a dress it’s a long maternity blouse. for those commenting on Freddie not being with her he’s home taking care of Charlotte they don’t have a 24 hour nanny like most celebs do
