'Dark Knight Rises' Still Number One

Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt can’t be beat – their action flick The Dark Knight Rises is still holding on to the top spot at the box office!

The Christopher Nolan-directed flick brought in an additional $36.4 million this weekend.

Second place went to Jessica Biel and Colin Farrell‘s reboot Total Recall, which garnered $26 million in its opening weekend.

Third place went to the family comedy Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, which earned $14.7 million. Fourth place was taken by the animated flick Ice Age: Continental Drift, which raked in $8.4 million.

Fifth place went to Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn‘s comedy The Watch, which took in $6.3 million.

    Total Recall was actually a pretty decent movie. It was entertaining and Colin and Kate did wonderfully! They’re such a badasses. Biel on the other hand needs to take her awful acting away from action movies.

    TDKR will be second next week with Bourne, but it deserves the money it makes. Best superhero movie since The Dark Knight.

    It didn’t make money until after the shooting in Colorado. People went to see it out of curiosity hoping they can witness another shooting I suppose.
