    Kate isn’t a princess, she is Duchess of Cambridge. While I’m proud of our athletes, I am not proud of how uneducated and they make the US look.

  • haha

    I hope they didn’t call Kate “princess”, so embarasssing!

  • somali girl

    Eww she is old and ugly looking without her fancy clothes and makeup. Very average. So sick of the royal leaches.

  • Jaye

    “royal leaches”? Are you kidding somali? Do you have any idea how much $$$ they bring in to charities businesses, the olympics, etc. when they do appearances?

  • the great kate

    i love how attached kate is to the olympics :-) she is so into it

  • really?

    Somali, you need glasses if you think Kate looks ugly here. And you must be about 12 if you think Kate looks old. Who ever said she has to be be beautiful, anyway. William chose her, and I think he would disagree with you.

  • Lisa

    Kate the Duchess of Cambridge is so B E A U T I F U L, LOVE from the U.S.

  • Lisa

    @somali girl: YOU TWIT

  • deena

    Somali girl, you need to learn to spell, you illiterate fool.

  • CallieO

    William will be cheating soon enough.

  • somali girl

    Actually my English is okay since I also speak Arabic, Amharic and Somali. So yeah. She does look old and haggard just like her crispy sister. These royal don’t age well.

  • deena

    Nope, your English is not okay, since you can’t spell. Bragging about the other languages you claim to speak just makes you look illiterate and pompous. Not to mention angry, bitter, hateful…

  • somali girl

    Umm. Nope not angry. I don’t care much about English.

  • Deb

    @Jaye:

    I have noticed that Somali Girl tends to make lots of negative comments. Think she does it to get attention and a rise out of people. I ignore her comments.

  • Lisa

    @somali girl: YOU PILLOCK

  • haha

    Iris2009: Kate looks like your grandma? So your mama was born to a12 year old, then became a child bride herself. Hillbilly.

    To the people who are embarrassed that the gymnasts are not “educated” enough to know she’s not a princess… Who cares? Why would you expect them to be familiar with how to address the british royal family? Are you familiar with the royal family of Lesotho? Would you know their titles and how to address them? lol Get over yourselves.
    I doubt the Duchess of Cambridge would care if they didn’t know her proper title.
    To the people criticizing somali girl’s english … if it’s not her first language then why would you mock her?

  • why, Anon,

    The Olympics are a very highly publicized event . The Olympians have are proudly representing their countries and if they are going to be meeting kings, duchesses, etc, they at least need to know who they are first!! The Olympics are being held in LONDON this year and yes, if they meet representatives of the HOSTING country, they need to take 5 minutes and get a rundown, prepare, out of respect.
    As for somali girl, she consistently makes downright nasty, disgusting remarks, so, yeah, if she writes like a moron, she’s fair gam to be ridiculed. I am sure I’m not the only one who doesn’t like her, and none of us give a rat’s as* about whether English is her 1st language.

  • anon

    The gymnasts’ error is understandable because in anticipation of the royal wedding and post-wedding, the US media often referred to her as “Princess Kate.” Yes, most Americans now know that she’s a duchess and not a princess, but it’s just a silly mistake. No need for anyone to get so worked up over it all.

  • jaz

    I’ve never seen the duchess being called a princess in American papers, and as for the royal family of Lesotho, if I was in the Olympics and they were being hosted by Lesotho, you bet I’d find out about their royal family, esp. since there’s a chance of meeting them!

  • anon

    @jaz: Then you must be blind.
