Actually, the movie isn’t about the character Kristen plays. The pivotal roles are Garret’s and Sam’s. This is their movie. So title of this thread is absolutely wrong!

# 5

does she play a hippy hoe?

# 6

It looks great. Besides, Kirsten Dunst + Viggo Mortensen = awesome. I like Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley too.

# 7

OMG this movie is so so so filthy you guys have no idea !!! Full on porn i swear ! i don’t even know how it’s gonna come out in the US since it’s very conservative !
(K.Stew shows breast, panty, really graphic sex scene! well it really does make sense now after the “trampire” thing)

# 8

Bet Walter Salles was in there too.

# 9

@Anne that’s exactly what i thought till i saw it ! i really thought it would be kinda like “Into The Wild” but it’s really far from it !

basically the story is : Have sex, Have drugs, Let’s rob people and no needs for moral : that’s what it is and believe me i’m kind !

i thought it would be soooo intersting well that was the most disapointing movie of the year

I love how this clip is released after the affair was exposed. Great marketing lol…..

@BabyXgirl: Walter Salles, the great Brazilian director of “The Motorcycle Diaries”, an awesome movie about the trip that a young Che Guevara did around South America before becoming a revolutionary. Hellooo… young Americans… great movies are not necessary a Hollywood product!!!

this was shot last year!!! and will be great! can’t wait

I’ll sum up the movie (I’ve already seen it): They drive, they get drunk, someone f*ck, they leave. And it goes on all over again at least 6 or 7 times.(I’m not even kidding or exaggerating) .The end is ******, Kirsten is just there looking pretty and ******, nothing else, it only worth it for the eye-candy that is Garrett in Hedlund, but I don’t waste your money on it.

the movie came out in France about 3 months ago and i have to say soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much overated !!!!
I really have to read that book but the movie looked like if 50 shades of grey met the 60′s and hippies

Never seen so much sex and stupidity in a movie (sex and the city is even less graphic)

Book was awesome. Can’t wait to see the movie, even though I’m not a big fan of Kristen.

I’m not sure the film will ever compare to the book, but Walter Salles is such a talented directed. However, the film is not about Kristen’s character. It absolutely revolves round Garrett and Sams characters. Her casting was a bad move in the first place, she was always going to taint it but now, she’s truly going to spew her filth and greasyness all over it.

I wonder if she f/cked the director of this movie too…

I saw this movie on Friday and that was the worst movie i’ve ever seen unfortunately. The 20 people in the theater left one by one and every time the screen went black I thought it would end but it never did, it felt like I sat there for 8 hours! When the movie finally had ended the remaining 2 people in the theater were asleep so well, don’t waste your money on a ticket, it’s not worth it.

Jack Kerouac’s rolling in his grave.

And she screwed up a masterpiece…

sweetness @ 08/06/2012 at 5:28 pm

is she so bad an actress that she has no speaking lines in the trailer…figures.

dont worry it will flop, twilight will be her only legacy……….

i saw it in France 3 months ago:it was very good (the acting !!! Garret is great) even if the movie is too linear

@ann: Actually OTR was shot between August to December 2010

Did she sleep with this director too?

aquarius64 @ 08/06/2012 at 7:11 pm

Stewart plays a character doing a three-way IN A CAR. Bad timing?

Kristen Stewart = worst actress ever.

@Ann:

Oh look at you! Thumbed up for piling on; my hero! Got news for you asswhipe, her recent notoriety is only going to make what was a modestly reviewed film (Cannes) probably now hit, AND especially for a performance that ironically is the most sexually daring of her career. Bank on it.

aquarius64 @ 08/06/2012 at 8:10 pm

@anon: This movie is going to be a hit for the WRONG reasons. They want to watch Bella/Snow White bone two guys at the same time, wondering if she used some of those moves on Rupert. The only judgment that will rendered on Stewart’s performance is how does it stack up to any of Jenna Jameson’s.

i cant be the only one who lost the whole respect for Kristen Stewart, right?

Beeyatch has no range of emotions whatsoever.
All her movie choices have something to do with sexual liberation of some kind.
WTTR, Adventureland, Runaways, OtR…. Well, SWATH had none but she made up for it by focking the director.
Seriously she has problems.

Run Rob, RUN!!!!!!!!

tinamarie @ 08/06/2012 at 9:11 pm

I will see this movie for one reason and that’s Garrett. My God when he says “I don’t know what’s wrong with me” I get all kinds of goosebumps. It looks like a good movie with a lot of good characters. Can’t wait.

I forgot to add her new pron/snuff movie Cali – nuff said

I meant PORN movie – lol

Am i the sole KStew fan here? I was planning to see the flick no matter how bad it is. We’ve all screwed up in our lives before. Forgive

I don’t like her anymore. She is a shi$&y actor.

@aquarius64:

Well, asswhipe, she isn’t a pron actress and neither is the movie. So if her so called notoriety in relation to a notorious sex-scene in the movie enhances ticket sales to what is basically an independent art film with the usual expectation that go with it, then I would say she will be a very much in-demand young actress and if it happens to annoy people like you then that’s a double win win in my books.

@Gh: Exactly! This movie is about Sal and Dean and Sal had an independent storyline in the book at one point. I read this years ago and I remember that Marylou wasn’t that important in the story. Sure, she was talked about in the beginning but it was more about Dean and his relationship with her. Btw I kinda find the whole book overrated since all they do is drive, get drunk and have sex. Maybe it is essential to that generation but I feel like it’s pretty standard thing to do today…hipsters, anyone???

sogoddamnenjoyable @ 08/06/2012 at 10:30 pm

K-Stew Fans are in a world of hurt.

Won’t support any movie that home-wrecker is in.

aquarius64 @ 08/06/2012 at 11:29 pm

@anon: No, she now has a reputation for being in demand by directors and producers…and not in a good way. Stewart has virtually been re-named the ***** of Babylon by her actions, and she and her sidepiece director hurt his small children by their foolishness. She is thought of as a monster for the harm she has done to the children alone. It is next to impossible to rehabilitate a reputation and save a career when you deliberately hurt children.

Kristen Stewart is a fine actress, wtf, accuse her of deliberately hurting children?

The assertion that Kristen Stewart deliberately hurts children is like claiming the reason people get divorced is in order to hurt the kids. Of course a movie like this one’s release is timed seasonally. Judging from the rancor here, we are still in the frigid lag cycle of seasonal libido. I’ve noted before, this site’s comments provide a remarkable barometer for such samplings. I’ve tracked this phenomena for many years. Another recent study gets touted claiming a similar seasonal deviation, but the results differ markedly from my own observations:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/06/love-and-lust-are-seasonal_n_1749091.html

@hitman:

Filthy? Have you read the Kerouac novel that it is based on? You are no different from the obscenity trialists whom Ginsberg had to face when he published Howl. Moron.

@SS please no need to be rude ! did you see the movie ??? if no then watch it and you will understand !
Even sex and the city isn’t that much hard ! I’m not a hater because of the K Stew RPatz situation but i was extremely disapointed by the movie because the trailer let you think that it is philosophic but it ain’t at all !
I will read the book when i will i have the opportunity

@anon: a) DREAM ON, B) Modestly reviewed in Cannes????? OTR and Paperboy got the WORST reviews in Cannes! And C) her cheating with a married man won’t make her acting or this movie better! So yeah, dream on!
PS: i can’t facking believe that this day has come, when articles about her are not full of sh*tty comments and bullying from her fans! Now that they ‘re all sitting in the corner, people can finally say what they REALLY feel about this low life chick!
PS2: haven’t seen the film, only the leaked KStew sex scenes. Too much addo about nothing! put them together, they’re no more that 4-5 mins and in the whole film she’s like… 15mins tops!

next thing she will do is “humanitarian work” to try & mend her broken image .. guarantee you it will be her next PR move.

Does Kristen have a speaking role in the movie? :P

great new trailer!! definitely looking forward to it. half way through the book now..

HO GOD PEOPLE JUST SHUT UP
you all must be so perfect to judge her, and write those bad comments…
it’s a good story, a good movie, but your little brain can’t even see that, you just want to judge her, on her personal life.. leave them alone, they didn’t ask you for anything!
shut up, thank you

Black-Dahlia @ 08/07/2012 at 6:17 am

@Ann: Yep.

the book is good, the movie is awful!!!!! and the movie is not around the character of k.stewart…she is not that important, plus she is bad in the movie.
here in france the general mark of k.stewart in this movie is 4 out of 20…….

Oh come on people, just stop it already!

Yeah yeah we know, we’re gonna have this “I bet she f*cked this director too” joke EVERY f*cking time now but seriously, it’s already annoying!

And, I have seen the movie as well, you can all minus me but IN MY OPINION (I’m allowed to give my opinion right?), it is a pure masterpiece!!! I’m not talking about the story, the drugs, crazy sex and parties blablabla.. don’t forget it is based from Kerouac’s book! ;) But I’m talking about the MOVIE, the piece of art that Salles directed! And I don’t understand (& I’m sure the people with me at the movie theater who watched it at the same time as me and who clapped at the end as well..) all the people saying such negative stuffs about it.. whatever.. lucky for us, we all have different opinions!

Oh and last thing but VERY IMPORTANT thing : Stop saying Kristen is ruining the movie etc.. especially if you haven’t seen it.. cuz’ her name is just here to promote the movie! (you can say whatever you want about her, like her or not, you can’t deny the fact that she helped promote the movie – big time!) But yeah, she’s not even present half of the movie, it really is a movie about Sal & Dean and their lives so if you think the movie is really that bad, don’t blame Kristen – or better, don’t PRETEND to blame her for ruining the movie !!!

Ok I’m done- minus me, I’m waiting ! =D
But, nonetheless, I know I’m 100% right with all I said… ;-)

@BabyXgirl:

Won’t be seeing it, and I was reading Karouac before Kristen was born. She ruined it for me. Twit. Read this blog, Kristen is not beautiful.

Bom as pessoas falham, mas dependendo da falha pode ser fatal em alguns casos, mas temos um juiz que julga as nossas causas se ele tiver misericórdia pontos positivos, mas se não tiver pontos negativos.

CHILDREN!
DON’T BE HATIN’!
i’M 60 YEARS OLD AND READ THE BOOK OVER 40 YEARS AGO.
LUCKY FOR ME I COULD GIVE TOO LITTLE OVER WHO KRISTEN STEWART IS-THO SHE’S PRETTY HOT-
(My take on vampire flicks is grounded in Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee.)
I am also old enough to realize that you must take this film in its historical context, i.e., how shocking and unsettling these people were to the mundane folks of the late forties and early fifties they came into contact with-
Give it a chance-

I’ve been wondering for years why this film was never made-
Kerouac wanted Marlon Brando to play the lead-
So finally it hits the big screen.
Concentrate on the energy between Dean Moriarty and Sal Paradise-
Neal and Jack-
Everyone and everything else is secondary.
Forget the cutie of the month and see her as the yum yum.
Neal and Jack is the story.

Hey try “Dharma Bums” after you’ve read “On the Road.”
