Tom Daley & Matthew Mitcham Advance in Olympics Diving
Tom Daley and Matthew Mitcham compete in the Men’s 10m Platform Diving Preliminary on Day 14 of the 2012 Summer Olympics at the Aquatics Centre on Friday (August 10) in London, England.
The 18-year-old British diver and the 24-year-old Aussie favorite both made it through to the semi-finals, as well as American diver David Boudia.
Matthew, one of the few openly gay Olympians, came in ninth and easily made it through to the next round. He won the gold medal in this event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Tom finished in fifteenth place while David narrowly made the cutoff, finishing in eighteenth and gaining the final spot in the semi-finals. Check back to find out who makes it to the finals!
