George Michael and Russell Brand get up and perform at the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics on Sunday (August 12) in London, England.
The 49-year-old singer and 37-year-old entertainer were just part of the spectacular end to this year’s Olympic Games – One Direction also sang, as did the Spice Girls!

Russell tweeted about one of his favorite Olympic divers: “I’m going to wait for Tom Daley in the little pool he goes in after he dives and cuddle him too hard.”

to me he did a good job..
Could have done without Russell Brand’s bad singing and worse lip-syncing. But George Michael was LIVE and is alive and he was amazing. I enjoyed watching the BBC1′s excellent ad free live broadcast of the closing ceremonies. I know that NBC and it’s inane glib snarky hosts will ruin the closing for American audiences.
