Kristin Chenoweth Leaves 'The Good Wife' After Injuries

Kristin Chenoweth will not be returning to film more episodes of The Good Wife following the injuries she sustained on set last month, her reps confirm to JustJared.com.

“It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife,” the Emmy-winning actress said in a statement. “[I'm] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern.”

Kristin will appear in the premiere episode and is open to appearing on the show in the future, but needs more time to heal, her reps said. The producers said Kristin is welcome to the show any time.

Over the weekend, Kristin was honored with an award by the Goodspeed Opera House, but was not able to attend the ceremony. The Good Wife‘s Alan Cumming accepted the award on her behalf.

“I love you Goodspeed Opera House. And thank you for the huge honor. So wished i coulda been there in person!” Kristin tweeted.

We hope you feel better soon, Kristin!
