Helena Bonham Carter: 'Great Expectations' Trailer - Watch Now!

Helena Bonham Carter gets into character as Miss Havisham in the just released international trailer for the upcoming adaptation of Great Expectations!

The 46-year-old actress stars alongside Jeremy Irvine, Holliday Grainger, Ralph Fiennes, and Robbie Coltrane in the new take on the classic tale which details the story of a humble orphan who winds up as a gentleman following the largesse of an unknown benefactor.

The Mike Newell-directed film will be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival this fall – a domestic release date will be announced soon.

Look forward to this one, the acting seems superb.

ps I love how some movies are shot quietly, no big advertisement but they turn to be masterpeaces, like this one.

I’m a big fan of the Ethan-Gwyneth modern retelling. Would wanna see this one. I think though that Anne Bancroft did a phenomenal job on her Mrs. Dinsmoor.

I have seen the BBC version. It was three part drama and I really loved it! Now when I watch this trailer I’m not really excited because I already have a vision in my head about the story and I think BBC’s Great Expectations is way better than this movie.

With Ralph fiennes and helena bonham carter , they can do no wrong. I’m in college and I has to read this two years ago. Can’t Forget it. The professor taught us With such passion…… Ahhhh memories. I’m dying to see helena bonham carter’s miss havisham, she was the best thing in the novel to me. I can’t waiiiiiiiiiiit to watch this

When i was watching the trailer i was like “There’s THREE actors from Harry Potter in this! Then it flashes on the screen “From the Director of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” hahaha all makes sense now.

Why do the same movies keep getting made over and over and over again?

If there is Helena in the movie, it has to be amazing. Going to check it, definitely!

Love Helena! Definitely going to check out this film especially after seeing this interview with her talking about her role as Miss Haversham
