John Mayer goes in for a hug with a bikini-clad Katy Perry at a pool party earlier this month in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 34-year-old singer and 27-year-old pop princess lounged around and spent some time in the pool together

“They hugged each other and splashed around,” a source told Us Weekly. “They were all over each other, making out! Neither of them is exactly shy.”

Another source added that Katy “doesn’t want to get her heart broken again, but she feels a real connection and wants to see where things go.”
