@vd:

I know right

I don’t know whose dumber, him or phelps

Its so funny, because I see the first few comments, and I already know what the rest will be. The guy is basically an idiot. He talks like a turdbrain, and comes across as a moron, or superstoner. He seems extra slow. But this is the thing, none of that matters. The guy did his job, and he is a gold medalist. As long as he did his job, he can be as dumb as he wants. In other words, a guy who worked as hard as he has, and accomplished as much as he has, has earned the right for you to accept him for who he is. Idiot or not. LOL

@Jody:

well that’s sending the wrong message to impressionable young people

this is why america is now a nation of idiots

I don’t get all the hate for this talented man. He isn’t intelligent enough? I doubt the majority of the people commenting on these sites are rocket scientists. It is also pathetic that we look down on people just because they don’t meet our standard of “intelligence.” He is a talented and handsome athlete, last time I checked he wasn’t the only one out seeking attention. Tebow loves being in the media, yet the majority of the people set him on a pedestal. Yeah I went there!

oh my god what next maria sharapova is going to trademark her signature grunt

@lenny: His job isnt to send a message. He is an olympic legend, and if that isnt a strong enough message, then I dont know what is. He cant change his personality. Its not his fault he was destined for greatness, but born with a dumb-guy personality. All he can do is be himself. As in be a LEGEND, And be an idiot.

@lenny:

Again with the stereotyping. Like there aren’t idiots in other countries!

umm that word was used when I was a freshman in high school, I think it was 1999..

stupid…

@Jody: an Olympic legend??? you might want to retype that…byt legend you meant Phelps right? Because what Ryan Lochte has accomplished is nowhere near legendary…or not yet what do I know but still, far from being a legend.

@dooliloo: Dude just to win ONE gold medal, already makes you a legend in that realm. The olympics is not like NBA Playoffs, or Superbowl. Its a once every 4 years game. If you win ONE medal, your already a legend. Your competing with the best from all over the WORLD. Not just the best of your country. The dude is a legend, point, blank, period.

@dooliloo:
he IS a legend. hes got 11 olympic medals! 2nd most decorated swimmer in the world! so stfu about things you clearly dont know **** about!
