'Expendables 2' Tops Weekend Box Office

The Expendables 2 has taken the top spot at the box office in a rather light weekend in movie attendance!

The action flick, starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, and Liam Hemsworth, brought in $13.5 million, for a ten day total of $52.3 million.

‘s The Bourne Legacy came in at number two this weekend, bringing in $9.3 million.

The family fun film ParaNorman came in at number three with $8.5 million earned.

The hilarious Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis comedy The Campaign came in fourth with $7.4 million, while The Dark Knight Rises rounded out the top five with $7.2 million. The Dark Knight Rises has earned $422.2 million since its opening, the second highest grossing film of the year thus far.

Newcomers Premium Rush, The Apparition, and Hit & Run failed to make the top five.

    2016 as well….packed theatre. Propaganda not so much. Many quotes directly from Obama’s own book and interviews with friends/relatives. Know what’s scary? Four more years…
