Lana Del Rey Covers 'Vogue Australia' October 2012

Lana Del Rey looks fabulous in a floral Gucci dress on the cover of Vogue Australia‘s October 2012 issue, on newsstands September 5.

Here is what the 26-year-old singer had to share with the mag:

On having stage fright during live performances: “I love to take care of the songs – that’s my natural place – then, when I get on stage that’s not my elements. Sometimes I kneel down because I am trembling or touch the audience because I don’t know what else to do. But the nice thing about the kids is that they feel bad for me, and pass me soft toys!”

On how her fashion sense has evolved: “I never expressed myself through fashion. I loved flowers in my hair, I loved guys who wore leather, but I didn’t get creative… From the age of about seven I had really specific tastes that never changed. I loved wearing white, old fur and gold. It’s funny because now people in fashion kind of came to my rescue when other people said they didn’t like the record but that was unexpected for me because I was never really that. I wear lots of white and blue shirts from Brooks Brothers and shorts when I’m in LA, and I wear this white cotton sundress every day when no-one’s looking at me. I think it’s Topshop.”

On not having anymore material to write: “I said everything I needed to say before I wrote this record. I don’t even talk that much. God, talking in interviews is the most I’ve talked in years.”

I thought the point of lip fillers is that it gave you a natural point. This is excess girl, you’re 26!

# 2

she is one of a kind..I think she’s actually cool

# 3

she has the same bad plastic surgeon doctor for her lips than Lindsay Lohan

The 2nd photo, where she seems kinda natural, without her weird face expression and that terrible, huge hair shows her beauty.
I do really like this photoshoot, these photos are just magic.

weird mouth

I love her music, but if you research her Lizzy Grant days photos you can see how she was naturally pretty before, I hate that she had to do this to herself, but that’s her business I guess… I do think her style and clothes are cool though.

Stop pumping your lips !! Whatever happened to Lizzie Grant ?? Girl, the nose job was a good move but now you need to STOP !

@florence:

I thought she only messed with her lips, but after checking her “before” photos I can see her nose and chin are different too. Her nose wasn’t that straight before but it looked better with the rest of her face. Now her eyes look kind of weird. She has naturally cleft chin and it still shows, so the change was subtle but she must have had some fillers or other type of corrective procedure ( I don’t even know how it works), because the dimple looks way less prominent.

she looks like a steven tyler caricature

Perfect example of a manufactured bublegum star…daddy’s rich, lots of plastic surgery and good PR. We won’t know her name 10 years from now…

Her nose job was too extreme – it’s now too pointy at the tip (although perhaps it’s not so much the nose that’s too small as the lips that are too big!)

I like her and i think she’s pretty

she looks pretty, but all the fillers in her lips make her mouth look disproportionate with the rest of her face

there’s something weird with her. I mean she has quite good songs and videos . But when you see her on interviews or live she’s kind of uninteresting, bland, like another person. It’s the first time I hear a newcomer on the music scene with that much exposure who can’t do their job…singing in front of people. Maybe success was too soon for her. I hope she doesn’t abandon so soon, lots of singers would die to have a raising career like that.

Gross!

Fat lips sink ships!

Every time I see faux full lips, I want to grab a fish hook and…

her lips and nose looks really creepy in these close-up photos, way too much plastic surgery there…

Quack quack. But I like ducklings best.

Why the hell is your business her body and what she did with him?! Also, is she the first celebrity who had done something? And is she the first who got a stage name? I really don’t understand people… :S

@Banana: Really? Because when I look at that picture all I can see is the massive amounts of plastic surgury she had done. I want to say it’s mostly the nose job, but in that shot you eyes are drawn to alterations all over her face.

Duck mouth.
