Christina Aguilera is a denim darling on the cover of Lucky magazine’s October 2012 issue, on newsstands September 4.
Here is what the 31-year-old The Voice judge had to share with the mag:
On the challenge she faced with her body: “Actually, the challenge I’ve always had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty, and obviously I love showing my cleavage.”
On fame at a young age: “When you’re young, it’s so easy to get bull-dozed. There were these two ladies who worked at the record label who always wanted to come to fittings and dress me up like a Barbie doll. It was disgusting.”
On her new album: “If you love “Fighter”, you’re going to love my new album. As a 30-year-old woman, I’ve been uncovering my independence, and it’s been really fun to explore in the new songs.”
On looking back to the staggering success of Stripped: “I was 21 and fearless. It was a really great turning point for me to be the artist I’d always wanted to be.”

i love when she puts light makeup on her face although, i also LOVE her signature red lip *_* She’s beautiful, in the inside as well :)
I’m glad she acknowledges Stripped, critically slaughtered (only because of her new racy image if you ask me) , the fans did the talking and it went on to sell 13 million worldwide, one of the most underrated albums of the 2000s.
Well Christina, your weight is all uphill from here, so you better try to keep in shape before you balloon to uncontrollable proportions.

Anyone will look good in light make up, once they are airbrushed to hell. Christina is just like the rest of those fat girls, who are so down with the curves and ish and then the next time you see em… *jennifer hudson* they are dried out.

I just watched the video, there is not one glimpse of her whole body that isn’t covered up with equipment. They show her sitting down and you can tell she is bigger than the photoshopped pics. There is nothing at all wrong with her body size and shape, and it is a shame that they resort to this manipulation. She loves her body, that is the most important thing.

I was responding to the people who claimed her face was photoshopped. If the magazine folks photo-shopped her body to be thinner then that is sad. However, I think this shoot was taken months ago, and from her latest “Your Body ” video shoot candids, her figure is more shapely than it was (in a good way)
It’s great that you have a level head and see that self-respect and self-esteem is more important than what others think of your physical self. You are a true rarity.
