OlderLucy Hale Covers 'HauteMuse' Magazine
Lucy Hale is ultra glam on the cover of HauteMuse magazine, on newsstands September 20.
Here’s what the 23-year-old Pretty Little Liars actress had to share with the mag:
On her upcoming country music album: “We’re exploring what we want my sound to be and what I want to talk about in my album. It’s kind of hard with my schedule to fit in both the filming and music, so we’re hoping to release it by next year. It’s a very exciting time in my life.”
On being a fan favorite to play Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey: “I’m definitely a huge fan of the books. Obviously I’d be thrilled to be a part of it, but I think it’s in the very beginning stages of it all.”
On her personal style: “I’m quite an indecisive person, so my style varies with the day and my mood. That’s what’s so fun about fashion, that you don’t have to have a particular style. You can be creative and take risks. I just view it as playing dress up.”

I could see her as Ana Steele. She has the innocent look for the role and her mannerisms from what I’ve seen of her are more girl next door then ******.

She can not be Anastasia Steele, she is not tall like her in the book or skinny and she is pay too pretty.. Anastasia is suppose to be someone normal

I like her, but I don’t see her as Ana. Then again, it depends on who would play Christian. If Matt were him, she wouldn’t be a good choice. If Ian were him, then I can see her as Ana.

@SaadGKhan: Um Anastasia is not described as tall in the books. Ana is average height 5’3″-5’5″. Also, Ana is not skin and bones, she’s “slim”. This is all how the books describe her. And how can you say Lucy Hale isn’t skinny? Are you serious? She’s perfect and would be great for the role. She’s tiny and has that innocence about her.
@SaadGKhan: Anastasia isn’t tall. To me lucy hale is very normal and average but has a natural beauty to her and thats why I think she would be a good choice.
in her cosmo issue she said she wanted to branch out and show people what she’s capable of and i think this would be a great role for her to do that. and whoever said lucy isn’t skinny is on crack. she has an amazing body. and i don’t remember there being a specific height on ana, but by other descriptions and references in the book I assumed her to be on the shorter side but with longer legs (as christian notes), maybe 5’4″.
I also like felicity jones, and i think lily collins has ana’s features dead on, but id wonder if she’d be willing to take on the role.

Yay! She’s perfect for Ana, I hope she’ll go out for it. And she looks beautiful in this shoot. But I do agree with Drey that it’s a bit photoshopped. She’s a natural beauty.
Since a few people mentioned height, isn’t Ana supposed to be like 5’3″ ish? Something like that. Christian supposedly towers over her.
