Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes attend the premiere of their film The Place Beyond the Pines during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival on Friday (September 7) at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
The 38-year-old actress wore a Dolce&Gabbana dress and Casadei shoes. Ryan wore a Gucci suit.
The on-and-off-screen couple star together in the film about a motorcycle stunt rider who considers committing a crime in order to provide for his wife and child, an act that puts him on a collision course with a cop-turned-politician.

Weirdest looking pair I’ve ever seen. She seems dominating and desperate while he appears to be lost, lonely and indifferent.
They don’t look like a real couple to me. And it’s not because they don’t want attention put on them (LOL,as if). They, especially he, look so stiff standing next to each other.

This is I believe their first RC together.. and they look terrible together. no chemistry or heat or sex appeal at all. She doesn’t even look like herself. @Joan: No, it is not obvious anywhere but in your head that she is chasing him. Do you and all these other Ryan “dissers” thing so little of him that you’re convinced he hasn’t a brain in his head and can’t think for himself let alone care for who he wants to?! You make NO sense. Either you think he’s dumber than a box of rocks or you’re 14 years old. Which one is it?
He was on the rebound when Eva came into his life that’s why he settled for less.
Now that the premiere has happened, it MAY end soon (they might have to wait till it’s in theatres). He looks so over “it” and her. He’s a scorpio, they’re easily bored and I think he’s bored of her. Eva deeply needs a new stylist. She looks like all wrong here.
