Miranda Kerr is stylish as can be at the Samantha Thavasa handbags promotion event held at the Tokyo Skytree on Sunday (September 9) in Tokyo, Japan.

FYI: Miranda is wearing a Josh Goot dress and Alaia Azzedine shoes.

    Lola Says:

    Representing brands that pay you the right amount, you mean. She’s all about organic food and etc. but she endorses products that have no kind of regulation, fair-trade agreements, or likewise. That’s called hypocrisy.

    @1 Says:

    Bitter….party of one….
    Regulation? Fair trade?
    Are you kidding?
    She endorses fashion brands, she doesn’t set trade policies. And besides, Japan has fair trade agreements with most of the larger nations in the world, so I don’t understand your beef.
    Well, I understand that your life is defined by your hatred for this woman that has never done anything to you. that is obvious.
    What I don’t understand is why you are grasping at straws like this…..
    Oh, wait.
    You’re desperate.
    That explains it.

    danielle Says:

    Actually she is the 9th highest paid model in the world. She doesn’t do these endorsements for altruistic reasons. And it is not hating on her to say that. She has done Maybelline, Victoria’s Secret and many other clothing lines. She also endorsed Lipton’s Ice Tea for a Japanese campaign. Do you really think she drinks Liptons? I doubt it. $$$$ People do overseas endorsements in Asia for the money and they know most of the people in the rest of the world won’t see the commercials.

    So I fail to see how it is hate when someone calls her out on her statement. Like most other models she does these endorsements and commercials for money.

    @@1: YOU are desperate. You stalk all Miranda Kerr threads and post hateful messages against people who comment with the slightest hint of disapproval against Miranda.
    @danielle: … and if she didn’t try to hawk organic products and talk & tweet so much about eating organic food, this wouldn’t have bothered me. She endorses one type of product, then stands for another when she’s on her own. If she was truly dedicated to “making the world a better place” she wouldn’t be so ambiguous.

    Where did anyone say that altruism has anything to do with endorsement deals?
    ANY celeb, or public figure who endorses products does it for the money. OF COURSE! Don’t be stupid.
    And she has never said that she uses ONLY organic products, or that she expects anyone else to, either. She has stated often that she uses organics WHEN SHE CAN.
    Stop putting words in her (or our) mouth.
    Misreprestenting her statements to suit your agenda is what makes people laugh at you, and what brands you as HATERS. Well, ONE of the reasons, anyway.

    @Jess Says:

    People who speak the truth, you mean?

    You are just pulling things out of your rear end now, aren’t you.
    Clear is a brand new line. No matter where you live. Though Unilever has been around for years.
    And all large companies dealing with personal care products, or medicines have been guilty of profits over the environment. It’s what they are doing now that counts. And what plans they are making for the future. Unilever actually excells at both points.

    FYI Says:

    Don’t care much either way about miranda but do not say she cares at all about promoting animal friendly products if she is endorsing for Clear/Unilever. Even if Clear was once animal friendly, having Unilever as a parent company now has changed that-just as Aussie lost their animal friendly tag when they sold to P&G. If she’s so rich she doesn’t need the pay check for the endorsement and a wealthy enough consumer to always choose animal friendly products then her connection to Clear/Unilever means she doesn’t give a d**n about animals. Guess her love of nature is not as strong a her love of fame.

  50. 50
    @49 Says:

    Actually, Unilever is making huge strides in becoming more animal/environmental friendly. And as you said, Clear already is.
    You can’t blame her for the actions of the entire company, when she is only endorsing one of its products.
    That’s like saying that you aren’t being environmentally conscious when you drive a Prius, because Toyota also make gas guzzling trucks.
    See, that makes no sense either.
    You sound really desperate to find something to complain about.

  51. 51
    @50 Says:

    I never said Clear was animal friendly, I said they may have been at some point but having Unilever as a parent company takes away any previous status. We’ll do it your way though, forget Unilever. Do you think you can find Clear on Leaping Bunny or any other cruelty free company list? No. Do you know why? Because they test the products (or pay another company to test) on animals. You either think this kind of cruelty is right our you don’t. Miranda obviously has no problem selling this product.

  52. 52
    @51 Says:

    Have you used any medicines in your life?
    Have you used any cosmetics?
    What about soap?
    or household cleaners?
    If so, then YOU have used things that have been tested on animals, either currently, or in the past.
    How hypocritical of you to hold Miranda to a higher standard than you do yourself.
    But we have to remember that hypocrisy from haters has to be expected.
    So keep on with your tirade, while you drive to work in a gas guzzling car (since you consider the whole company to be one entity, any car you drive is a gas guzzler by association), only to work in an air conditioned office (freon pollutes, remember) and sit down to your lunch that was cooked over natural gas (fracking) and delivered on plates cleaned with polluting chemicals.
    Do as I say, not as I do, doesn’t work here dearie.

  53. 53
    Ange Says:

    @Jess: Then don’t bloody click into the post you hypocrite. Solution is that simple.

  54. 54
    Ange Says:

    @chica: OK i agree it sounds a little egocentric. But I think she didn’t mean it in a “I’m better than everyone else and have done so much” way. I think she meant it in a “It’s amazing how far I’ve been able to come” way, as in she can’t believe how far life has taken her. Considering how she did come from being a farm girl in a TINY town from Australia.
