Mindy Kaling Covers New York Magazine!

Mindy Kaling graces the cover of New York magazine‘s new issue, out on newsstands now!

Here’s what the 33-year-old The Mindy Project actress had to share with the mag:

On not wanting to be defined by her gender or skin color: “I never want to be called the funniest Indian female comedian that exists. I feel like I can go head-to-head with the best white, male comedy writers that are out there. Why would I want to self-categorize myself into a smaller group than I’m able to compete in?”

On her job as showrunner: “There have definitely been times when I’ve wished I could ask Tina Fey, ‘What do you … ? How do you … ?’ Because, like, all you’re doing is answering questions! If I could make a device where people could just intuit everything you are thinking—a little cable you plug into, like, a USB port, I would make a billion dollars.”

I’ve made $64,000 so far this year working online and I’m a full time student. Im using an online business opportunity I heard about and I’ve made such great money. It’s really user friendly and I’m just so happy that I found out about it. Heres what I do, ||R=E=A=D===>>>

Her new show will be a hit. Mindy is such an amazing young woman. funny, intelligent and sexy.

I love Mindy so much. I was laughing out loud constantly on the train during my morning commutes to work while reading her book. She is a true talent, and I love that she represents that being an intelligent woman doesn’t mean you can’t be girly and ridiculous sometimes!

EW! She is so ugly! She could never make it in Bollywood because she is too dark in India they prefer their actors to look more Persian with white skin and light eyes. Sad but true! East Indians are more prejudices against their people than the Brits ever was.

I wonder how many hours went into retouching away the multiple creases in her face. Not an attractive young woman. Not even a young-looking young woman.

  • Alewife

This woman has a face like a leather satchel. But she’s just homely, not grotesque. What’s grotesque is the effort to sell such a homely woman as a sex object.
