Brad on his way out the door long before Angie came along saw an angel the day Angie walked into the studio early , professional as always and prepared to do her role as Mrs. Smith.
From day one all of their fun competing with one another turned into Fate. They both wanted large families , both were single at the end of that yr and fate was always in the background awaiting their final decision to say Lets Do It. You and Me baby . You can’t fight that kind of love .

That was 2005 and it’s soon going to be 2013. KUDOS!! it’s been 8 yrs of bliss for Brad Pitt and The Jolie with their adorable family of 6.

Brad and Angie are both AList actors, highest paid , both are producers, directors and every yr their movies get better and better. Award season is a busy time these two AListers always need heavy security at any and all events and cause the loudest noises from their millions of Fans all over the world..= most popular= polarizing forces, powerful like we have never seen before.

They are the Glamour of Hollywood at its best…8 long yrs of it waiting to be grandparents one day .

As for Angies big heart and 10 or more yrs of giving to the poor and down trodden. Angie is an Angel. Bless this women we need so many more like her but so far there is only one humanitarian actress like Angie . What would we do without her. She is an inspiration, a mentor and to top it off the most beautful women in the world.

thank you to all the men and women who try and make our world a better place and for mankind. For those who lost their country, home, families or loved ones–prayers and sorrow for you. For those who respond to hate, I pray especially for you so you may see through the manipulation tactics of hate and do not respond in violence. To those who incite violence and hate, every religion has its extremists
–you are no different and you have blood and evil on your hands.
Thank you Angelina …and Brad, for all you do around the globe. Both of them show what a person can do if they choose to use their celebrity for good and not be self-absorbed like some.
. I hope the fans are right and Angie is expecting child number 7. Didn’t Brad always say he would like 6 or 7 kids?

I noticed her boobs, too, but I don’t think Angie’s preggers. She supposedly going to make a movie with Luc Besson in the early part of next year. In the black caftan her boobs looked the same as usual. I just think it was the bra she was wearing. Besides, like Angie once said about herself re: her not needing that much padding for her LCTR DDDs, “I’m NOT flat-chested.”

So… four threads this week, one for each photo op with our Lady of Homewrecking Hors promoting her favorite cause: herself. It was so easy to breeze through the comments as 95% of them were comprised of the usual drivel from resident horshippers: bashing of the ex and blessings for the demon and her absentee baby daddy.

The hor of Babyloon goes out on a 2-hour photo op with her hired paps in tow and loons think she’s already saved the world and stopped wars? LMAO. What’s next? Turning water into wine? I’m pretty sure you loons actually believe she capable of doing it, seeing how you already think the most valuable asset the UN has. Har har.

Sheep, you really have no clue. We all know that her fauxmanitarian works are nothing but a pathetic attempt to erase her disturbing past, but she’ll always fail. Actual humanitarians will spend long periods of time over those regions and won’t go there wearing make-up or having cameras following them. It’s clear that Heroina only wants to raise her profile again since she has a movie coming out and she her “promise for the future” ring did not spark enough interest from the public and media.

BTW, why isn’t she wearing the ring in these pics? Does she feel guilty about rocking a blood diamond in a war-torn country? Nah, loons, she’s already taken… or didn’t you know that she can’t marry Pothead because she’s already engaged to Satan?

How strange …Heroina was 27 years old when she made that statement and yet loons consider her an experimental child at that age. I suppose that is why they dismiss her idiotic faux pas of recent times as well. I personally blame it on her mental illness i.e. her chicken leg episode…along with the rest of the world…

You never got answer from loons about that, isn’t that right Mega?? You’re absolutely right though, loons continue to excuse her as an “experimental child” when she was already an adult. I’ve never heard of anyone in their late 20s who got involved in self-harming and dangerous sex practices without eventually acknowledging their mental problems.

I think Mrs. Bonkers’ refuses to seek help about her fragile mental state (hence her new nickname) because she thinks doing so will hurt her career. She won’t have to worry about it for much longer though. Her career is heading back to the gutter where it was back in 2004 before she got a second wind from having an affair with Pothead and ruining his marriage! >D

    @Real:

Botox is the least subtle of the procedures she’s been through. You can tell that she can’t even frown. Nicole Kidman got a lot of crap for it. Now that the old ho has a frozen face, she can’t expect many job offers. The studios don’t like when actors can’t show emotion.

Angie is a true angel. She has given so much as millions of monetary donations and service to the refugees and kids who have no one else to turn to. Her overwhelming compassion and concern for them touches me so much. The world needs more people like her.

  • Samantha

    Angelina’s thought process:
”Nobody could POSSIBLY say anythiing bad about me now, with this newest stunt! yess.”

  • Abby

I don’t see how some people could say anything bad and derogatory about people like Angie who gives so much of herself to helping others that have absolutely nothing and no one to help them and making sure that their needs are taken care of and not left to die. Not to mention the risks she takes whenever she goes to these war torn countries.
For those who thrives on seeing fault and flaws in others, that is a sign of insecurity and immaturity. Remember that what you say about others reveals what you really are. They will never find peace, true happiness and contentment life.

  • Huuhaa

She’s not the only celebrity doing this. And she ain’t no saint, so stfu with your “we thank God for you..” crap. She may care about the blight of refugees, but at the end of the day she returns to her private jet and heads back to her mansion.

Jolie listens to plight of Syria refugees

ANKARA: Hollywood star Angelina Jolie said Thursday that Syrian refugees were deeply worried about the plight of their families back home as she visited a Turkish camp on the border with the war-torn nation.
“They are very very emotional and very deeply saddened by the situation in Syria and very concerned about their family and friends in their country,” said Jolie, a UN special envoy.
“Our thoughts are with them and with the Turkish people and we are very grateful to you,” she said, also praising the Ankara government for funding “such extraordinary camps.”
Jolie, accompanied by UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres, met some of the 12,000 refugees at the Oncupinar camp, which lies outside the southeastern city of Kilis on the Syrian border.
The Oscar-winning actress said she listened to the stories of the refugees who have fled Syria, where a brutal conflict that began as a peaceful uprising against the Damascus regime has now killed around 27,000 people, according to activists.
Jolie was also briefed by Turkish officials at Oncupinar on conditions at the country’s border camps which altogether shelter some 80,000 registered refugees, according to the Anatolia news agency.
“I would be a happy man if we would be able to provide to all the refugees in the world the same kind of conditions that generously the Turkish government is providing here in Kilis camp to the Syrian refugees,” Guterres told reporters.
Jolie also travelled to another camp in nearby Gaziantep city and is due in Ankara for talks with Turkish officials, including President Abdullah Gul.
On Tuesday, Jolie visited a refugee camp in Jordan where she appealed to the world to “do everything they can to support these refugees” fleeing the escalating conflict in their country.
Ankara has called for safe zones to protect people on Syrian soil, but the proposal fell on deaf ears at a UN Security Council meeting last month. (AFP)

    KILIS, Turkey, September 13 (UNHCR)

    – UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres and his Special Envoy Angelina Jolie reiterated the urgent need to help countries hosting tens of thousands of Syrian refugees after visiting two of 12 well-organized camps located near Turkey’s border with Syria.
During their trip, Guterres and Jolie thanked Turkey for keeping its borders open for anyone seeking asylum; for adopting a system of temporary protection; and providing assurance that no Syrian would be forcibly returned. They also praised the role of the Turkish Red Crescent in providing aid to the refugees.
More than 80,000 refugees, mainly women and children, are staying in these camps and the government is planning four more by the end of this month to house a further 36,000. In addition, up to 60,000 people are thought to be staying with relatives or renting rooms and apartments in urban areas.
“Our gates are open to all Syrians,” said Suleyman Tapsiz, governor of the border province of Kilis. “Now our biggest district is the camp,” he revealed.
High Commissioner Guterres called on other countries to do more to help Turkey. “It is time for the international community to understand that with the high numbers crossing borders, they can’t do it alone,” said Guterres, who made similar appeals earlier this week while visiting the two other main host countries, Jordan and Lebanon, with Special Envoy Jolie.
“Syrians have a history of welcoming people in need,” added Jolie. “Now it is their hour of need and I am grateful to Turkey and all the neighboring countries for their extraordinary generosity.” More than 250,000 Syrians have to date registered or applied to register as refugees in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan, but the real number of those who have fled the fighting could be much higher.
At the Kilis camp, 12,000 refugees reside in converted freight containers, providing some semblance of home. Governor Tapsiz said a further 4,000 were living in the town of Kilis and receiving aid.
The Turkish government is identifying the most vulnerable refugees in all areas and providing them with aid as well as moving people from inadequate shelters to camps. Some 6,000 refugees live in hangars while waiting entry to Turkey at the Kilis border crossing. They will likely be moved to the new camps.
Turkey has also been providing vital medical care for refugees, including those with war injuries. Since the crisis began last year, Turkish doctors have performed surgery on 1,600 refugees in Kilis, many of them conflict-related. “In our hospitals, you can see wounded babies, people who lost their arms,” Tapsiz said, while urging greater international help to maintain a high level of support.
During her visit to Kilis camp, Jolie talked to several families, all of whom had lost relatives. One woman told the actress that a whole family was killed in her town when their home was bombed. “We don’t care about our houses,” the woman told her. “We care about the blood of the people.” Another woman told Jolie about the sole survivor of another family – a baby found cradled in her dead mother’s arms.
Education was a recurrent theme during the visit and Guterres and Jolie toured a new primary school with walls covered with children’s artwork. But some families expressed concern about the future for their children. “There is no way to advance as a refugee,” one Syrian said. “Life stops. Even though we are alive, life has ended.”
Later on Thursday, Guterres and Jolie visited the Islahiye refugee camp in Gaziantep province. The recently established camp houses some 10,000 Syrians in tents. Under the sweltering heat, refugees voiced fears for family members back home and said they were concerned about the coming winter.
One woman told Jolie her son was risking death by staying in their village near Syria’s largest city, Aleppo, to protect their home from looters. Another woman, a teacher and mother of seven, spoke of her husband, a former police officer who lost his hands in an explosion and could no longer work. She was one of 400 qualified teachers on a waiting list to teach at the camp school.
Meanwhile, Guterres also expressed concern about the welfare of displaced civilians in Syria. “I am a strong believer in improving the humanitarian assistance inside Syria,” the High Commissioner told Governor Tapsiz. “More pressure is needed to make sure humanitarian assistance inside Syria is strongly upgraded.”
Since the start of the crisis, 115,000 Syrians have arrived at the camps in Turkey, but 35,000 have since returned voluntarily. In April, Turkey asked the international community to contribute to the response effort.

ISTANBUL — Angelina Jolie visited Syrian refugees in Turkey on Thursday to draw attention to the plight of the hundreds of thousands who have fled their nation’s civil war.

The trip by Jolie, UNHCR’s special envoy, and the agency’s chief, Antonio Guterres, came amid concern in Turkey that the number of registered Syrian refugees on its soil – about 80,000 – is becoming difficult to manage.

Turkey has also been frustrated in attempts to persuade the international community to help set up safe havens for Syrian civilians inside Syria.

Angelina Jolie and Guterres drove through the gates of the Kilis camp near the Syrian border. Her meetings with refugees were closed to the media. Her two-day itinerary in Turkey was also to include a stop in Ankara, the capital, for talks with officials including President Abdullah Gul.

Earlier this week, Angleina Jolie and Guterres visited Syrian refugees in Jordan, which is also sheltering those who have fled the 18-month conflict in neighboring Syria. Guterres said the sheer numbers are taking a toll on Jordan’s economy and resources. The U.N. refugee agency has said the number of Syrian refugees seeking its help now tops a quarter-million – and could be far higher.

Turkey, which supports the Syrian opposition in its fight against President Bashar Assad’s regime, has maintained an “open door” policy for Syrians fleeing the violence. Turkey has spent more than $300 million on the refugee crisis and is building three new camps, raising the total number of camps to 14.

Pitt to make IBM and Holocaust film
    (UKPA) – 4 hours ago
Brad Pitt is said to be “developing” a film based on Edwin Black’s book, IBM And The Holocaust.
The Hollywood superstar is set to produce through his Plan B production company, and possibly star, in the drama, reported Vulture.
Marcus Hinchey has written the script, and a director has not been named.
Edwin’s book, published in 2001 and a New York Times best-seller, examines IBM’s then-chief executive Thomas Watson, claiming that he formed a “strategic alliance” with Nazi Germany, and used punch cards to help the Germans quickly identify the Jews.
Brad, who attended a special screening of his new crime thriller Killing Them Softly in London, has been busy filming Ridley Scott’s The Counsellor, which also stars Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz and real-life couple Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz.
The actor, who has six children with fiancee Angelina Jolie, said he is not too bothered about making films his children can watch now.
“I’m actually more interested in the films that they’re going to enjoy when they’re adults,” he said.

Brad Pitt: Born again book nerd?

    WordandFilm.com-

The past two days have been bookended by news from the front of Brad Pitt’s literary land-grab. Yesterday the Weinstein Company announced it had shifted the release date of “Killing Them Softly,” an adaptation of George V. Higgins’ Cogan’s Trade starring and produced by Pitt, to an Oscar-optimizing November 30; Today word got out that Pitt has been quietly developing an adaptation of IBM and the Holocaust, Edwin Black’s bestselling investigation into the computer conglom’s role assisting the Nazis to target Jews.

Perhaps literary evangelism is the most apt analogy for Pitt’s zeal for using his box office muscle to move challenging literary prizewinners from the rarefied microbrew-and-kale-salad haunts of the McSweeneys generation to anyone within reach of a multiplex or the cable remote.

Over the past decade, Pitt has undergone a self-generated conversion from matinee idol to serious-minded producer-actor and hardcore bibliophile, whose taste for ambitious, thought-provoking book-based material could give Scott Rudin — the Godfather of page-to-screen prestige pictures — a run for his money.

The transformation began ten years ago, when Pitt devised Plan B, the production company he launched with producer Dede Gardner and his then-wife, Jennifer Aniston (not long for the partnership).

Though Pitt has only appeared in a handful of Plan-B produced films – “Troy,” “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,” and “The Tree of Life – the actor seemed to take the company title as a kind of mid-career mandate to abstain from the soulless star-vehicles studios had been spoon feeding him ever since “Thelma and Louise” made him a heartthrob. In the years since he started Plan B, “Spy Games” and “The Mexican” have been replaced by “Tree of Life” and “Moneyball.”

Even though the latter was not a Plan B production, there is an argument to be made that the high quality standards Pitt has applied to his producing projects has made him more discriminating about his acting choices. Skeptical?

Here’s Pitt’s 2013 on-screen lineup: An heroic turn in the big screen version of Max Brooks’ ground-breaking epistolary genre novel, World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War; a supporting role in subversive British director Steve McQueen’s “Twelve Years a Slave,” based on the true story of Solomon Northup, a man born free in New York and kidnapped and sold into slavery in the pre-emancipation south; and, perhaps most interestingly, he’ll play a lawyer sucked into the narcotics netherworld in “The Counselor,” novelist Cormac McCarthy’s first original screenplay.

And least Pitt be accused of cherry-picking the best roles, Plan B’s slate of projects in various stages of development reads like a mash-up of year-end literary “Ten Best” lists from the past decade.

With nearly thirty choice projects stockpiled, Plan B might be well advised to splinter off into Plans C-Z to give the most worthy of those scripts a true shot at getting made. But given our druthers, we’d waste no time fast-tracking the following five projects into production.
Fortress of Solitude — Jonathan Lethem’s elegiac origin story of a Brooklyn boy who seeks solace in comics.
Beautiful Boy – David Sheff’s memoir of his son’s descent into the grip of crystal meth addiction.
The Tiger – John Valliant’s true tale of the feline predator who terrorized a remote Russian village.
The Imperfectionists – Tom Rachman’s workplace screwball comedy set in the Rome bureau of an English-language newspaper.
The Odyssey – The original epic journey, one step removed from Homer-esque

In re: to Samantha’s comment, if that is how you view the great contributions and impact to millions of people and children that Angie HAS helped and IS still helping, I’m sad for you for the reasons I have stated in earlier comment. I just hope you would find time to reflect and ask yourself these questions:

How would I feel if I was one of the refugees and someone helped me?
Have I done anything to help others?
Do I want people to judge me for my past mistakes (or what they perceive to be my past)instead of the present good that I do for others?

UN Special Envoy Jolie Holds Meeting with UN Officials in Ankara

    Friday, 14 September 2012

Actress and UN goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie arrived in Ankara’s Swissotel on Thursday and held a meeting with representatives of various UN organizations and representatives of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Turkey.

Jolie shared her impressions in camps of Syrians staying in Jordan and Lebanon with the UN staff members in Ankara.

Angelina Jolie was in Kilis and Gaziantep provinces earlier in the day and she visited the camps of Syrians staying in Turkey.

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie met with Syrian refugees in Turkey on Thursday to draw attention to the plight of the hundreds of thousands who have fled their nation’s civil war.

The trip by Jolie, who is a special envoy for the UN refugee agency, comes as Turkey grows increasingly concerned that the number of registered Syrian refugees on its soil — about 80,000 — is becoming difficult to manage.
Turkey has also been frustrated in attempts to persuade the international community to help set up safe havens for Syrian civilians inside Syria.

Jolie and Antonio Guterres, the UN high commissioner for refugees, met privately with refugees at two camps near the Syrian border. Jolie’s two-day itinerary in Turkey was also to include a stop in Ankara, the capital, for talks with officials including President Abdullah Gul.

Jolie said the refugees had told her they were grateful to Turkey for its help. “And they are very, very emotional and very deeply saddened by the situation in Syria and very concerned about their families and their friends in their country,” the actress said.

Earlier this week, Jolie and Guterres visited Syrian refugees in Jordan, which is also sheltering those who have fled the 18-month-long conflict in neighbouring Syria. Guterres said the sheer number of refugees is taking a toll on Jordan’s economy and resources.
The UN refugee agency has said the number of Syrian refugees seeking its help now tops a quarter-million — and could be far higher. Activists estimate some 23,000 people have been killed in the bloodshed in Syria since March 2011.

Turkey, which supports the Syrian opposition in its fight against President Bashar Assad’s regime, has maintained what it calls an “open door” policy for Syrians fleeing the violence. Turkey has spent more than $300 million (Dh1,101 million) on the refugee crisis and is building three new camps, raising the total number of camps to 14.
Several thousand Syrians have been stranded on the Syrian side of the border this month, barred from entering Turkey while they await transfer to the new camps.

@Bitt killing his career slowly: You have been here saying the same thing for awhile. “I hope the refugees can feed her”. Angie can always gain weight, but ugly goes to the bone. You will always be ugly, so keep stuffing your face.

I love this lady not just for her great films but for all she does for ppl in dire need.

Bless Angie she is my inspiration.

Brad Pitt knew what he was doing when he fell madly in love with her . What a lovely couple of great A Lists actors.

Congratulations Angie for all your help to the syrian ppl. They will never forget just like all the other countries you have supported
    for the past 10 yrs.

Brad and Angie – Trend setters! Cant remember when chinnifer rubbed shoulders with World (heavyweights)Leaders?

Chinniston only keen on rubbing herself from one toy boy to another? Go Angie your are my dream girl. Nothing repeat nothing would have stopped Brad from running in to an Angel’s arms.

Good morning my dear Rose How are you? Or should I say how’s the tooth ? You know what today I had made my mind up when I came on to the site I don’t want to see a Troll with their vile posts first thing in the morning.
Therefore I apologies before hand some links might have been repeated but you know what any thing to show how much effort Angelina is putting into this Trip cannot be praised enough or should I say posted again and again.
Tickys hags can’t even force her self to go on her threat, so as she is here lets educate her the meaning of life & humanity respecting people in need. ( which I know is a tall order but hey why give up)
