I hate it when this site doesn’t mention the main actor of the movie, but the secondary characters just because they are more famous. The Master is Joaquin Phonenix and Paul Thomas Anderson’s movie. Amy Adams is here too, but these two are the main stars of the movie.

You did the same thing with On the Road movie by keeping mention it as Kristen Stewart’s movie. Please, pay attention to such details.

21 million? In todays market? Yeah that’s PATHETIC. It only tops the movies of suck not like it had anything to compete with. Its 82 min long – why the hell would anybody pay for an 82 min crapfest? Ridiculous.

Resident Evil should stop, really. It’s the fifth movie, and it’s almost the same as the first. It was cool at the beginning, but now…it’s too old.

I love the Resident Evil franchise and will definitely see RE6–I *hope* there is an RE6 because apparently that’s the last one, the closing movie….but yes, this movie series is trucking along solely on Milla’s charisma. Love that woman. It was a plus to have Michelle Rodriguez and a bunch of characters from the previous installments though.

I absolutely loved the film. It was like an hour and a half of climaxing. I would say this movie by far outweights all of the other RE films. It was action packed. The storyline was great. Milla Jovovich delivered (as always). The return of the Red Queen and Alice’s T-Virus induced powers was a plus. I just wish they would address what happened to Angie at some point.

Uh… just because Resident Evil took the top spot, doesn’t mean it was a success. 21 million is nothing; it’s just that there aren’t better new films out at the moment (other than The Master, but I think that’s in limited release at the moment). I actually think Americans are becoming more aware not to watch crappy films.

You only need to look at what The Master made to realize Americans do not like crappy films. The movie is in not even out everyone in this country, yet it still broke records.

Yeah, Americans really love crappy films…. *rolls eyes*
