There are so many talented theater actors who deserve to be on Broadway. She bought another play for herself, but she won’t be able to buy another Tony.

oh no, it was supposed be J. Renner!

Renner knows a turkey when he sees it. If only ScarJo’s talent matched her massive ego and connections.

No! no no no no no no no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ScarJo is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. Why do people hate her so much?

She’s lovely and all, but she’s either boring or awkwardly trying way too hard in most of her roles. I dunno. I still feel inclined to like her when I see her because she was such a great kid actor in stuff like Manny & Lo, but she never lived up to her potential past her breakout year when she did Lost in Translation. She hasn’t been good in anything for almost 10 years, and she’s at her worst when she tries to pull off big personalities like Cat.

I get that Broadway lowers their standards for “name” actors, but she doesn’t really put butts in seats on her own so I wonder how this will do. I did see her on Broadway already, and even though she was handed a Tony, it really wasn’t earned. Onstage she overacts in a way that SCREAMS high school while also not managing to pull off a convincing variety of emotions. She’s not a very nuanced performer.

@Liliya: I can’t agree with you. She was fantastic in ‘Match Point’ and good in ‘Scoop’. Her roles in th 2006-2010 didn’t really require any special acting skills from her and they bomb. She was convincing enough in ‘The Black Dahlia’ but the script and execution was a mess so the movie bombed. She isn’t the best actress in the world but I wouldn’t exaggerate about her lacking talent.

@XxXxX: Exactly because of that.
