Adam Lambert on Paris Hilton: 'She's Not Worth It'

Adam Lambert makes his way through the airport on Wednesday (September 26) in Washington, D.C.

The 30-year-old singer was jetting out of town after attending a marriage equality event in Maryland the evening before.

At the airport, Adam was asked his opinion on Paris Hilton, who recently made some derogatory comments about gay men while being secretly recorded.

“I’m not going to comment on that one,” he said (via Radar Online). “She’s not worth it.”

    Oh give it a rest Lambert – She was talking to her GAY friend, and speaking about the men THAT USE GRINDR. It’s been taking completely out of context and I am not even a Paris fan but I do agree that it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. What is more worrying is why the loser cab driver was recording this. What an invasion of privacy. He knew full well she didn’t mean it in a homophobic way.

  • Leah

    Agree with Adam. She is definitely not worth it. He looks great.

  • Bren

    @BEAN: “Give it a rest Lambert”? He was asked about it and said ‘no comment’. He didn’t bring it up, the reporter did. And, he’s right – she’s not worth discussing it.

  • Camille

    he wasn’t ‘attending the event’ he headlined it and KICKED ASS!! Please get your facts straight

  • J.Taylor

    If you listen he actually says, “I’m not going to comment on that one.. IT’S not worth it”

  • BEAN

    @Bren: Please don’t act like you don’t understand why I said give it a rest. By saying ‘she is not worth discussing’ he is making his feeling known. Unless you’re a real dumbazz, you can clearly see that. Well the right answer is not always the most popular so I really don’t give a fluck.

  • AdamFan

    I thought he said “IT’S not worth it” meaning it’s not worth even commenting on the whole situation.

  • Riley

    What the hell happened to this guy to this guys career? I used to be such a huge fan. But everything is always about his Gay fans. What about milking music that appeals to everyone, not just Gay people?

  • MM

    That’s why he chose not to comment on it

  • melody

    Listen to the video… Adam said he’s not going to comment… IT”S NOT WORTH IT.

    You guys just like to change it up… for hits .

  • Ritta

    Lol at Paris again. She wants to be chic, classy, fashionista and blablabla… and the worst thing you can ever do is to pick on gays. Generally speaking they are the best friends!!

  • zzzz

    Hey Bean, I agree completely with you. I am not a Paris fan, but I think her comments were taken out of context. I have heard the same things she said before, with gays and non-gays present and no one was offended. People are so hyper-sensitized these days, they don’t even think before they react! In addition, nothing about Paris has ever made me see her as a homophobe/hater.

  • melody

    @Riley:

    Have you listened to his album.. It appeals to everyone..After listening you might even note what a great CDTrespassing is and might even buy it.

    It got rave reviews and was #1 on BB

  • Albiku

    Oh, come on… He clearly said “it’s not worth it”.

    @Railey –> I’m a heterosexual, and I love his new music. If you don’t like it, I assure you it’s not because it’s gay music. *Roll eyes*

  • Mitt Romney

    For once in Paris Hilton’s life, she actually makes sense.

  • Chill

    Adam got a boyfriend and it killed his career.

  • Lilly

    Adam said: IT’S NOT WORTH IT!
    Adam would never say something like “she’s not worth it”.

    Riley – 90 % of Adam’s fans are straight women.

  • melody

    @Riley:

    In the last six months…
    What happened to Adam’s career , His new Album Trespassing just got rave reviews and was #1 album on Bill Board,he was in Europe fronting for Queen for 6 concerts, He will be on Pretty Little liars and on Rove La this Sunday..He’s been in magazines and newspapers all over the world.

  • Albiku

    @Chill –> What a ridiculous comment.

  • melody

    @melody:

    To add He’s on his way to China to be on TV, and was in Australia, a few weeks ago. Adam is an International star..

  • shhhh

    This is the moment where Justin Bieber should react.

  • LoLo

    Glamberts on the attack.

  • Leah

    @Chill
    Such a silly comment. At least you can console yourself with the fact he seems happier than he has ever been.

  • http://muchmusic.com Jasmine

    Welcome to homophobicville alive and well on the comment section, lol, never change, morons! BTW, I admire Adam so much, he always knows how to handle the paps and react with class, he’s right, IT totally is not worth it, rude comments from anyone are just that, rude comments and a waste of life, on with the music!!

  • mlm

    @BEAN: No she isn’t worth him commenting. All that would do is drag him into the middle of the controversy. All the media buzzards would have a field day with it!! And yes, the cab driver is a sleaze for recording her conversation.

  • Somali Girl

    I love Adam Lambert. Paris Hilton is a nothing

  • Somali Girl

    FYI Adam said “It’s not worth it” But actually that’s the same thing. Hilton is an “it”.

  • [~Fug Face Man!ston~]

    BEAN is stupider than Paris (if possible). ahahahahahaha

  • Gala

    Adam said: IT’S not worth it! Adam is always a class act! He would never say: She… So don’t be a HUGE rumor mill!!!

  • http://N/A Kelly

    Adam only said what most of us knew all along. Paris Hilton is definitely not worth stressing over!

  • Isay

    I like Paris.

  • Effy

    He’s smart. There is no reason to comment on it. Paris’s words and actions speak for themselves – pure stupidity. She’s an idiot.

  • Jacki

    Ahhhh this is how the media make their living – by making mountains out of molehills. Anyone with ears can tell the comment is obscure and you can’t tell if he’s saying “it’s” “she’s” or even “it’s just not worth it”. Anyone who knows Adam would know it’s very unlikely he was personally attacking Paris. But whatever he said he was trying to avoid commenting. So why is anyone else carrying on about it? It’s not like he launched into some tirade. Gawd. People are so ridiculous sometimes. Her comments were silly. It’s not worth talking about. I agree with Adam.

  • noplace

    Gorgeous Adam!

  • http://gayamericaninargentina.blogspot.com.ar/ JJ

    Adam Lambert showed he was the bigger person by not commenting on Hilton’s ridiculous comments. I’m not sure I could have been as polite in his place.

    As far as Paris Hilton’s comment, I just have one thing to say to her, “Look who’s calling the kettle black?”

  • sheets for brains

    @JJ:

    it’s not that he is a bigger person he just wants to make more people like him

  • Isay

    Actually Paris was the bigger person because she APOLOGIZED and explained what she meant by her comments. I don’t remember Lambert ever apologizing to those who he offended by his performance at the AMA’s. I guess he’s not that big a person to do that. Instead he said something about he didn’t think he did anything wrong so why should he apologize which sounded pretty asinine and arrogant and probably made people dislike him ever more. Paris could have said that too but she didn’t. She apologized to those who may have felt hurt by what she said.

  • Patty

    Catchy headline, but Adam says “IT’S just not worth it.”

  • j

    I agree with Paris.

  • MagooEBJ

    @Leah:

    This is TWISTED. Adam did not say that. You don’t have to believe me or anyone. Just–Listen to the video! He answered the request to COMMENT by saying “it’s not worth it.” How fast the lies spread and how impossible it is for anyone in the public eye to be treated with respect.

    OK, Got your hits. Now get lots more by publishing a follow-up like “ADAM NEVER SAID THAT” Be the first to set the record straight and you’ll get the bumper crop of hits for yourself.

  • MagooEBJ

    @LoLo: you meant to say, I’m sure, Glamberts on the DEFENSE against an obvious lie to get hits. And you don’t even need to be a Glambert to see that this whole story, widely spread, is untrue. Any idiot (other than bloggers apparently) can listen to the video and understand that what Adam said was completely turned around to be sensational instead of the actual,
    polite and friendly to the paps, no comment because “IT’s not worth it.”

    Recording Paris’ comments seems wrong (the recording, not her words), but turning Adam’s no comment response into a complete lie is malicious.

  • adamfan

    @Riley: You obviously know nothing about his career or you would never have made the comment you did. Did you not see or hear any of the 6 concerts with Queen this year? Were they about his gay fans? Have you ever been to a concert of his? If so, you would not make that comment.

  • adamfan

    @zzzz: I agree with you that Paris is not a homophobic hater and that the media made something out of a private conversation. However, I disagree with you agreeing with Bean. Adam said he had no comment to the reporter while he was walking through the airport and that comment has been blown out of proportion also. He said “It’s not worth discussing” which I agree with.

  • adamfan

    @Isay: Dumb comment. Adam did not criticize anyone with his AMA performance so he had no one to apologize to. If you were offended by male/male action, then I believe that that is YOUR problem, not Adam’s. Did Rihanna or Janet Jackson apologize for grabbing their male dancers’ crotches at the same show? Did Brittany and Madonna apologize for kissing? Come on… double standards are alive and well with you. I may be offended by your religion. Are you going to apologize to me? So silly.

  • Isay

    @adamfan: You better read your comments if you want to see dumb comments. Oy yoy! LOL!

  • http://@RedRoseQueen1 RedRoseQueen1

    @BEAN: Seriously Bean? You’re defending someone who is merely famous for being famous over someone as TALENTED as Adam Lambert (who is also an openly gay man and therefore entitled to his own feelings regarding what was said)?? I *facepalm* you.

  • http://@RedRoseQueen1 RedRoseQueen1

    @sheets for brains: You’re a total moron. But of course, by MORON, I mean a nice guy…..LOL! She SAID it. Now she needs to OWN IT! FFS some people can be so THICK.

  • KSE

    I think the fact that she posted a picture of herself w/Adam at NYFW on her Twitter with the comment “I love him” just as this news broke speaks volumes. Seems to me she used him for damage control. So…yeah…Adam was justified in stating that she’s not worth it. She’s had her 15 minutes. Now go away, please.
