Amanda Bynes tries hiding her face from photographers while shopping on Saturday (September 29) in the Soho neighborhood of New York City.
The 26-year-old troubled actress reportedly locked herself in a bathroom for over thirty minutes during a two-hour visit to the Little Cupcake Bakeshop earlier this week, according to E! News.
A firefighter who happened to be in the store at the time almost kicked the door down after there was no response from Amanda, but then she exited the bathroom and said she was doing her makeup.

idk aboout you people, but she looks normal too me she does not look like a drug consumer like Lindsay Lohan did. I think the stupid media has alot to do in why many celebs act this way they drive them crazy to the point they do things they are not suppose to do. I think the media is taking this story and and stretching to the point that soon they’ll drive the poor girl insane like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears and she’ll start doing bad things.

Oh God, maybe she was pooping ? Can you imagine how embarrassing that would be ? You sit on a toilet, with tummy ache, already feeling bad, as it will be obvious to people what you were doing, and then they call a FIREMAN ?! If she was really pooping, I’d die from laughter.
Talking to herself, smearing lipstick all over her face, saying she needs to look pretty over and over, fascination with mirrors, not enough focus to workout, sitting on treadmills constantly applying lipstick with a compact mirror, all point to a mental breakdown. She needs support, not jokes. She has to audition for work, with all the new competition which probably led to her breakdown.

@SunnyAutumn: I agree with the second part of your comment, she is probably having a mental breakdown. I really hope she get the help that she needs. She’s probably afraid of the stigma of mental illness attached to her, but she should put her health ahead of her career. You see this in high stress work environments all the time. I feel so bad for her, so young with a full life ahead of her.
