OlderMiley Cyrus: Bonnie in 'Bonnie & Clyde' Lifetime Miniseries?
Miley Cyrus and her fiance Liam Hemsworth hold hands while leaving a juice place with their friends on Saturday (September 29) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 19-year-old entertainer is reportedly in talks to play Bonnie in a Bonnie and Clyde mini-series for Lifetime/The History Channel, according to Deadline.
The four-parter is based on the true story of bank robbing couple Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, who were well-known outlaws, robbers, and criminals who traveled the Central United States with their “Barrow Gang” during the Great Depression.
FYI: Miley is wearing Lookmatic “Patti Goes To Paris” sunglasses.

The hair, outfit and trashy tattoos make for one hideous look. I honestly don’t know her BF can stomach it. I’m going to have to assume that this is false info because it would indicate how stalled her career is right now. They both starred in that Nick Sparks movie and now he’s doing a multi-million dollar franchise and she’s doing a Lifetime miniseries? Wow, talk about his career going North and her’s going South.

I’m stunned. As a long time Bonnie and Clyde history buff, I’m always excited about anything involving their story, but I just don’t know if I can handle watching Miley as Bonnie. The fact that she looks absolutely nothing like her is really only the beginning of why thIs won’t work. No one is ever going to take this project seriously with her in it, and that’s a shame because the true story (not the mythical tale spun by the movie) is really quite complex and interesting, & I think theoretically a mini-series is the best way to tell the story more completely. But not with her, and I fear who they’ll cast as Clyde too.
