Older'Taken 2' Tops Weekend Box Office
Taken 2 has stolen the top slot at this weekend’s box office!
The Liam Neeson action sequel took in $50 million domestically, nearly doubling it’s 2009 counterpart, according to THR! Worldwide, the film grossed approximately $105 million. Wow! The movie also boasts the best October PG-13 film opening of all time.
Hotel Transylvania came in second place this weekend with an estimated $26.3 million.
Fan favorite film Pitch Perfect, starring Elizabeth Banks, Anna Kendrick, and Rebel Wilson, placed third with $14.7 million.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt‘s thriller Looper came in at number four with $11.8 million.

Lol, the critics really hated Taken 2. But I honestly have no idea why. It exciting and fun. The first one was better, but Liam Neeson makes every movie be cool.

Liam Neeson is a guy to root for. He’s a great actor and an even better person. I hope he keeps kicking butt at the box office!
