How freakin cool is that. Dakota is only 18 years old and she hangs with one of the most legendary directors ever.

Oooh la la. Steven Spielberg’s son(?): what. a. hottie!

Ol Parker, the director of Dakota’s “Now is Good,’ found out firsthand that Dakota has Spielberg on speed dial…and…and…when she called, he answered. The story is on YouTube in a radio interview with Ol Parker about “Now is Good.” It’s also an informative interview about the movie. Recommended interview.

Title: “BBC radio 4 Ol Parker interview for Now is Good”

BTW, I like “War of the Worlds (2005) and find it to be way way more intense than Super 8.

I hope Dakota stars someday in another Spielberg movie, but this time around as the lead character, and maybe not in a movie about aliens unless it’s a movie about the return of Allie Keys (if you’ve seen Taken the mini series you know what I mean).

Still can’t believe she played in Twilight. What did Steven Spielberg have to say about that?

  • Mel_M

@claire: Someday, I’ll forgive her for doing those movies. She was young and they did, at least, give her some exposure to the teens. Anyway, it doesn’t change the fact that Dakota is extremely talented and that I’m climbing the walls waiting to see her new movies.

I’ve recently seen a really good vampire movie: it was “Let Me In (2010)” (R) with Kodi Smit-McPhee and Chloe Moretz. I wouldn’t have thought I’d love a vampire movie, but I love this one. That said, the movie is a rather disturbing drama and love story.
