Bruno Mars' 'Locked Out of Heaven' Video Premiere - Watch Now!

Bruno Mars visits The Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show at the Z100 Studio on Monday (October 15) in New York City.

The 26-year-old singer promoted his upcoming album Unorthodox Jukebox and talked about his new single “Locked Out Of Heaven” – watch the video premiere below!

“The concept is just old-fashioned fun,” Bruno explained to MTV News. “No story line, it’s not me singing to a girl, you get a good sense of what you’re going to get live…It’s very VHS-y. I love that man, it takes me back to my childhood, when the tracking is off and the color is off, there’s a beauty in that. You’d have to stand by the TV with, like, aluminum foil all over you.”

why do I think this sounds a lot like the police??

  • TK

@karina: Granted it has that upbeat 80′s vibe that was popularised by The Police, but it’s actually similar to many 80′s bands in general, like The Outfields, Men at Work, The Fixx, etc, mixed with a bit of Michael Jackson. Glad that this 80′s sound is slowly coming back!
