Katy Perry dons a colorful dress while heading out to celebrate her boyfriend John Mayer‘s birthday on Tuesday (October 16) in New York City.
Earlier in the day, the 27-year-old pop star and her 35-year-old beau were spotted having lunch together at ABC Kitchen in the Big Apple.

In a new episode of VH1′s Behind the Music, Katy‘s ex-boyfriend Travie McCoy opened up about their relationship, which ended in 2009.
“We looked really cute together. We get (sic) along better than any other girl I’ve ever hung out with in my life. That was the beginning of a really, really awesome time for me. … When I was around her I felt really at ease and comfortable with myself. … It was the most amazing thing ever,” Travie shared.

Compare his pictures with Katy with his pictures with Jennifer Aniston. He was hugging her, holding her and smiling walking around with her but with this one, it hasn’t happened. He looks whipped and she looks like she is gonna cry. This is a very sad thing… he wanted to use her for sex, she had a very old crush on him and told him she was in it just for fun (sex), and then she fell in love with him and now they are both miserable + too proud + too weak to just say “you go this way and I go that way.” I love John, but my God, the man is a weak d!ck. Katy, I don’t give a damn about her, but I know her clingy type… she won’t let go until he really pushes her away, which might not happen soon because he is getting her ass.
