Selena Gomez Sends Prayers To Taliban Shooting Victim Malala Yousufzai

The next day, the 20-year-old entertainer tweeted her thoughts and prayers to a gunshot victim from the Middle East.

“My prayers, thoughts, and wells wishes to your speedy recovery. Such a symbol of strength,” Selena wrote, along with a link to an article about 15-year-old Pakistani activist Malala Yousufzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban for promoting female education.

Malala is reportedly doing better, but still faces a long recovery.
