OlderRyan Gosling & Natalie Portman: 'Untitled Malick Project' Set with Cate Blanchett!
Ryan Gosling crosses the street while filming scenes for his upcoming Untitled Terrence Malick Project on Saturday (October 20) in Austin, Tex.
The 31-year-old actor was joined on set by co-stars Cate Blanchett and Natalie Portman, who rocked some wet hair.

The day before, Natalie was seen kissing co-star Michael Fassbender in a white dress on top of a balcony.
Earlier in the week, Ryan was spotted serenading his co-star Rooney Mara while filming some scenes.
FYI: Cate is wearing a Billy Reid dress.

@tavari89: the last malick film I saw was The New World with Christian Bale and Colin Farrell. That was pretty effing sweet.
She is a good actress. How many movies is this director doing? Hes doing another one with Natalie and Cate blanchett too. Its also with Christan Bale and Wes Bently. I hope hes doesn’t cut out Ryan Gosling in this one. I heard this directors ikes to cut out actors parts. He apparently cut out Adrian Brody and Rachel Weiz in one of his movies.

@Christiana: The New World is a very beautiful movie and a great love triangle. Too bad that so many people are just into action and special effects and aren’t able to appreciate and even understand the beauty of body language and cinematography with no special effects . Like some people that criticize Drive for the lack of dialogue. The body language is part of what makes Drive so special. That’s Malick stuff too. I just didn’t like the dinosaurs and the excess of the “God” world in The Tree of Life. But, I love the fact that his movies look like beautiful dreams.
@Christiana: @Tessa: The New World is so beautifully shot. there’s a lot of focus on Virginia nature – the grass, wind, trees. you really feel the characters are in love (Pocahontas & John) even though they dont even kiss. it’s really romantic.

I think the main criticism about Malicks movies is that he substitutes storytelling with an over-abundance of beautiful pictures. Drive had a story, interesting characters AND great cinematography which supported the story. Malick has no interest in character driven story telling.

@reggie: Yes, I know. But, some of his movies, like The New World or Days of Heaven had a storyline. Let’s hope de does the same with this one.
i have to disagree, i think malick’s stuff is still character-driven, but less self-centered and more holistic, like told from multiple perspectives and voices rather than just one. in that way, it’s more empathetic of what other people are going through instead of seeing things from a singular angle. that’s why his films are beautiful to me.

@carrie: Christian Bale is in both of his movies. Knights of Cup .he is the lead but in this movie I don’t know how big is part is. Probably small and will get cut out since Ryan Gosling is the lead in this one.
