Anderson Cooper's Talk Show Canceled After Two Seasons

Anderson Cooper‘s daytime talk show Anderson Live! has been canceled following two seasons.

The show will continue producing new episodes until next summer. It received a big face life for the second season, with a new studio, new title, and an all live format, though it seems it hasn’t helped the show survive.

“I am very proud of the work that our terrific staff has put into launching and sustaining our show for two seasons. I am also grateful to Telepictures for giving me the opportunity, and indebted to viewers, who have responded so positively. I look forward to doing more great shows this season, and though I’m sorry we won’t be continuing, I have truly enjoyed it,” Anderson said in a statement.

I wish he had been able to replace Regis on Live! Anderson and Kelly have a great rapport and they present well together. I think she brings out the comical, self-depreciating side of him and of course, the giggle that we all love.

I’m glad. It was one of the most boring, awkward shows to watch. With weird pauses in between conversations. Strange. I have nothing against Anderson but he’s better covering stories of the world and news stories I think. Oh well, I wish him well with future ventures.

He’s a leftist media darling without a following but somehow they keep giving him gigs hoping people will care enough to watch.

He was such an awkward host. Was definitely not his thing…He is good at reporting the news, but his show was terribly predictable and yawn inducing. And he has the weirdest laugh! Was so annoying hearing his laugh… I will stick to Dr.Phil. His show actually seems to be improving and has interesting topics…

The absolute best Talk Show on TV, even if it did air at 8A.M.
Guests were wonderful, interesting people.only had one
co-host we did not care for. Thank goodness she was on only one time.
Thanks for the really interesting people and stories we were lucky enough to see.

I am the Pres. of Straight Pride and I love him dearly, I don’t believe he is gay whatsoever, his mother was a lesbian and was sleeing with Kathy Griffin and they were the ones calling him gay and lying about him. He wants the gay rumors to stop and the gay men to stop following him around.

I adore Anderson, I think he is exceptionally handsome. And
Full of deep consideration for people whatever he chooses
To continue doing he is of great character.i hate
when people make fun of him, when he admitted being
Homosexual, somehow I didn’t care, I still love his face.
I remember his mother on his show and the life story, I
Truly felt for him, his poor brother, a loss, his father a loss,
I suffered from a suicide attempt,I was the same age as his
Brother, I jumped under a moving train, electrocuted, etc
Somehow I survived. Still fight depression, take medicine.

I LOVE Anderson Cooper and hate to see his show leave the air. I will say I liked his first year better. I too would loved to have seen him replace Regis as he and Kelly really clicked. He is compassionate, considerate and quirky and doesn’t mind letting people see him with those emotions and character. I wish him well in any venture he partakes of in the future. He has been a hit with me since he first hit the TV screen. He is a wonderful reporter and comes across on his show a little different from other talk show hosts but who wants cutouts all the time? He makes things interesting. Like his geniuine excitment when his secret guest was “The Fonze”. He is natural and unassuming and I find that refreshing!! Shame on those who made this decision.@Kristaria:
