Ellen Pompeo dons stripes while grabbing some ice cream with her mother-in-law on Sunday (October 28) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 42-year-old actress was seen showing her soft side by helping a homeless woman with some change before stepping into her car.

Ellen‘s Grey’s Anatomy co-star Patrick Dempsey recently talked about how their relationship has evolved over the years.
“We’re like a married couple at this point. We’ve been together for nine years. We’ve gone through everything. We have a lot of fun.” Patrick shared. “You go through all the emotions because you’re spending a lot of time together. [There are days when] you go, ‘Oh, OK. You’re obviously in a bad mood. I’ll come back in about 10 minutes.’ And then you get on with it.”
