    I will call him out for his idiotic choices anytime. But I feel sad to see him down. I guess he was wandering NY this week reflecting and regrouping after the lousy CM performance. Predictable plot. Why can he swallow his pride and take on a smaller yet meaty role with a great script? Like someone mentioned, roles in TV or Film is good.

    Poor Gerry is sad because he’s missing his gf. His movie tanked and his prospects for future films aren’t all that great. Maddie can visit him wherever he is as soon as she finishes filming, any day now. They’ll have a glorious reunion and enjoy themselves on the west coast where for the first time ever, Gerry will consent to being photographed with a woman. Maybe TMZ will finally catch up to the story that he’s off the market!

    Anyone notice that he never went to Costa Rica? Another fake story planted by the WO freaks. Just like the one where he “gave Lolita away”. Not true. She’s probably with his pals in LA.

    I look forward to many new piccies of him and his love.

  • Anon

    @Clamsie: You are a colossal fool. WO did not make up the Costa Rica holiday. Gerard Butler himself said that he was going there in a recent interview.

  • Anastasia Beaverhausen

    Gerard B is making the exact same face that my nephew and I were making at the Connecticut and Dallas airports before finally making it home on Wednesday. It’s a “Please just let me get home, take a hot bath/shower and have a glass of wine” face. I was there Gerard, I was there.

    Hi Miss Joie, I hope all is well with you. Yep that was me……witch hunter. Haha Or more like having a childish/teen kind of time. I’m glad that we didn’t get caught. lol It was too fun. :)

  • http://www.littleclam.com Clamsie

    @Anon: He lied, which comes easy to him.

  • Michelle

    @Clamsie:

    Why are you so invested in it?

    He really is average when he’s not in premiere mode. He cleans up good.

  • Anna

    He probably hasn’t had sex for a few days and that’s why he looks so miserable. A Gerard Butler that doesn’t get laid (almost) every day is a sad Gerard Butler. He has a real gf now, but she’s not where he is, and he can’t go out and hook up with some random chick now, so…no sex until he meets Madi again. He’s probably a sex addict and needs IT all the friggin time. Poor little G ;)

  • casandra

    Its sad how some like to put other people down…Unfortunately, CM didnt do well in theatres, (even though I still think its quite a good and inspirational movie and I want to see it )and probably that’s why Gerry is quite grumpy and sad and understandably so…Any of us would be if we were in his shoes.
    Its not the end of the world, nor is this the end of his career..so less negativity and hatred would be better.

  • casandra

    @Masha: I believe this Nicole Trunfio thing lasted for a while since I’ve seen her in quite a few pictures with Gerry. I would say it lasted for a few months..She’s beautiful but she comes across as stuck up …I don’t think he’s really such a big manwh*re after all , I think he had a few relationships and a few flings in between like any other guy out there would .

  • bonnie

    If he has just come from NY and seen all the devastation that has happened,that is why he is sad …..
    Gosh I don’t live there and my heart goes out to all……..
    He must be feeling the same way surely….
    And her going on about things that should be private….Icon my ass.
    Or is there a private life ????

  • angelsrock

    @Empathy:

    I agree with you on all points. And I think we’re going to see your suggestions soon enough especially if PFK and OHF are stinkers at the box office. I think Gerry really does like these scripts about real people and real stories. He finds them inspiring and I think he relates to these people in some way. And he wants the world to know about them. In an interview with one of the directors, he said that if Gerry hadn’t come along CM would never have been made. People judge success on how much money one makes. That’s not how I look at people. Heck I chose to be a teacher, believe me, not much money in that choice. My brother is a big wig millionaire. But a really shotty father and husband.That family is a mess.. His kids are suffering for that now. Is he more successful than I? Gerry’s making choice that suit him right now. If things don’t change soon, we’ll seem him as second billing and/or on TV.
    And that’s ok too!

  • Anastasia Beaverhausen

    @bonnie:

    Well to be honest, if that’s the case, then I hope he did what he could to help. Us little people were being evacuated and having anxiety about getting back home to our jobs and families. Donate your time, goods, give blood, whatever you can to help. Have a great weekend all. ;)

  • http://www.justjared.com lolita

    @angelsrock:
    good moring Angel, I think Gerry will have to endure another loss with PTF, that is a limited audience too. I think OHF will be much better because it will draw a wider audience. He is drawn to true real life stories and you may be right about him feeling connected somehow. They have dropped CM to one showing at 9:40 pm here or one showing at another theater at 12:30PM. It must have had a very poor showing in the week it was out.
    I wonder in the pics above where he looks so troubled if he was waiting for whoever took the pic to say something stupid to him. He has to feel bad because he did have high hopes for CM.
    Have a great day Angel, sun is finally out and I am going out to enjoy it while it lasts.

  • angelsrock

    @Anastasia Beaverhausen:

    You can’t help, but tear up when you see the news and the plight of some of the people in NJ/NY. I hope Gerry did something to help his fellow NY’ers. I have a feeling he did.

  • food 4 thought

    @angelsrock: I would hope so too, but I doubt it. Reports of him in a club, and wandering around, but no indication that he was making himself useful. Then as soon as he could, he left. Maybe he gave up his hotel room for a family in need – one can only hope. If you don’t want to help, at least get out of the way I always say.

    So many fans want so much to believe the best about GB. That he’s generous, giving, selfless. But really, there is no indication of that. He may paste his name on a few charities, but outside of awkward photo ops (Haiti) and a whole lot of parties, what does he actually do? Here he is, a big strong guy, who could help with the cleanup effort in some way. It’s not rocket science. Grab a broom, drag some debris, help carry some water. But where is he? In a freakin club with that other w@nker, Leo. I’m flipping the bird to both of them.

  • Out of curosity

    @food 4 thought:
    So what have you been doing to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy, since you seem to be able to judge Leo and Gerry, what have you done? I’ve donted mony but right now thats all I can do. We don’t know if Gerry and/or Leo did the same. What about other celebrities like Angelina, Brad, Jake gyllenhaal, Bradly Cooper, Bette Midler, Pink, Daniel Radclif, etc, etc, etc…. my point is that many times celebrities donate money because they don’t have the skills it takes to help those affected by this storm. They do it in private. No one has the right to judge another person whether they be a celebrity or a common person.

    The Gospel according to St. Matthew

    Judge not, that ye be not judged.

    For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Mk. 4.24

    And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

    Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

    Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

    ¶ Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

    @Out of curosity: You can quote scripture at me till you are purple. My point is that many tend to assume greater philanthropy from a celeb than evidence supports. My point is that he calls New York home. When your home is destroyed, you get moving and help to fix it. People from all over the world, including me, are doing what they can. I have a lot of respect for Bon Jovi, and Springsteen – they wasted no time putting their talents to good use. Have a nice day.

  • pics

    So glad he’ll be voicing his character again for this special. I love hearing him in HTTYD. Although he doesn’t appear to be all too happy in the above pics it was really nice of him to take a moment out of his busy schedule for a fan.

  • exfantiredofallthebs

    @food 4 thought: I’m with you on this one.
    When you work out how many $1000s he spends each week on flights (1st class of course), swanky hotels, eating out , management, PR, assistant, free loading friends, partying, clubbing, and think about the financial failures of his last, few, scant, projects…. Just how affluent is he? He lives his life in the media when it suits his image, guards his privacy when it might provoke a backlash. Can you really imagine him doing some genuine charity work incognito? Or even Judy quietly getting on with it without seeking press attention? I can’t.
    Some celebs may milk it but at least their hearts are in theright place, and not on the first plane out with a sour face http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2227149/Ben-Stiller-doles-pancakes-New-York-shelter–Alec-Baldwin-comforts-students-left-homeless-Superstorm-Sandy.html

  • Out of curosity

    @food 4 thought: My point is that unless you know him personally, you don’t know what he’s done so why even bring it up? Yes I know you have a right to post your views but i can’t help but think they are self destructive. Its never healthy to harbor resentment and thats what I read in your post. And thats my personal view of what I’m reading which I also have a right to post. I’m not trying to cause an argument, I’m trying to present an alternative perspective. Don’t think the worst of others unless you want others to think the worst of you.

  • exfantiredofallthebs

    @Out of curosity: sorry, but when someone has done so many sleezy things as a matter of public record, it is human nature to form an opinion. Can you honestly say you haven’t?
    Trouble is Gerry has not counteracted his misdemeanors too many to recount, with positive deeds. And I’m talking over the last decade or more. Even if you only believe the fraction captured on tape how can you assume he is altruistic?

  • ROFLMAO

    @pics: Really? “Take a moment out of his busy schedule.” ROFLMAO. That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever read on here. Can I have some of what you’re having this morning?

  • pics

    The funniest ever, really? I’m not so sure about that, but thanks. I don’t know what his schedule is like but he sure jet sets around a lot so he must be busy doing something.

  • Out of curosity

    @exfantiredofallthebs:
    I do understand your view I’ve felt it for other celebrities including Gerry but thats where i came to the conclusion that I just needed to worry about my actions. We all have to account for what we have done in the end. To me I’d rather think the best of people until they prove otherwise. Even then I prefer to surround myself with positive things, its far more satisfying to my soul. I don’t condone Gerry’s actions with women, personally it says that he has issues that he needs to deal with. But once again its his life and he needs to figure that out. Either way i don’t know if he has helped the people that have been affected. Remember its not just NY that was hit, by giving money to the Redcross you can find comfort in that they will spend it where its needed. Like the one poster stated, you can’t help but feel sorrow when you see the destruction this storm caused. For most people sorrow does motivate them to help.

  • Thought for the day!

    @Missed opportunities: He was making LAC and couldn’t do it. I wish they’d ask Gerry to do Bond. I actually think it would be a huge career boost for him. I seriously think, however, that G likes to do films where he has creative authority and I don’t think he likes being told what to do or how to act. He’s a Scorpio and I live with one. He’s like the racehorse with a lot of talent, skill and break neck speed when it’s harnessed by a good jockey otheriwse, he flails and runs all over the track and never crosses the finish line when given “free reign” to do what he wants. Once he admits that to himself, things will turn around for him.

  • exfantiredofallthebs

    @Out of curosity: I take your point about minding our own actions, but none of us live in a vacuum and society is the culmination of individual’s actions and inactions and the problems they cause, i think its a little naive to not consider the actions of others at some point. I’m quite sure that many of the good deeds in life are done with one eye on what othets think. It’s human nature.

  • Thought for the day!

    I heard that there’s going to be a celebrity telethon for the Sandy devastation. Haven’t read too much on it but could be held in LA and Gerry could be helping out in that event. I think too that it’s easier to go to Dubai from the west coast so could be he’ll do his stuff in LA then off to Dubai. I’ll bet he’s going to Costa Rica during his BD week. Heard they have some nice surfing there.

  • ROFLMAO

    @pics: Always flying, that is true. Running, running, gotta keep moving. Actually, he might look into employment with the airlines.

  • dargabriel

    Good morning JJ and everyone… Gerard looks so sad, cheer up butler you shall have,everything your heart desires, if you really want it. Have a beautiful day. Love,dargabriel
