Katy Perry: Happy Voting!

Katy Perry and President Barack Obama sandwich in her grandmother in this recently snapped pic from her Twitter account.

“May I exclusively present what might be the cutest photo ever taken: Me, Gma & POTUS! Happy voting tomorrow!” the 28-year-old entertainer tweeted, along with the photo.

Katy is an avid supported of President Obama and his re-election campaign. She performed at two of his rallies: one in Milwaukee and one in Las Vegas! She also performed at the Obama‘s 30 Days to Victory concert last month.

Be sure to get out and vote today if you are of age and registered!

Obama stop posing with dumb celebrities

  • jasmine

Ok, we get it Obama loves to hang with celebs. Celebs are rich. What about joe average? What is the deal?

  • From Paris with Love

Isn’t it unfair that everytime a celebrity endorses Obama it’s talked about and showed over and over everywhere thus it advertizes him constantly? I don’t know how things work in the US, but in other places the media are legally compelled to give the same amount of coverage to all the main candidates…

  • jasmine

Guess they think that the celeb followers will do what the celeb wants and vote for Obama.@From Paris with Love:

    Obama, again?

Why does he pose with celebs? That’s because he needs their fan votes, of their of age. Obama loves his celebrity status.

FYI: I find Katy extremely annoying. her look and her voice.

  • Mew

    @Dave Franco:

    FYI : me too

I turn the station every time I hear her:(

I hate it when celebrities get involved in politics. It’s so tacky & annoying, especially her stupid campaign dresses. This idiot just lost half her fan base. What a moron!

  • KissThis

I’m usually against celebrities being so open about their political views. It isn’t a smart thing to do when you’re trying to keep fans, as some people are so sensitive about their beliefs and views. But I admire Katy for being so upfront about her’s. She’s really lent a lot of support as well. It’s a GOOD thing. And I’m pretty damn sure she didn’t just lose HALF of her fan base. Give me a break. Romney isn’t that successful in sucking people in.

You know what? you are the first ones in say how much you hate the celebrities and stuff…but also are the first ones to get info of ‘em!!! LEAVE KATY PERRY IN PEACE!!!

Obama is a boring president. What really has he done. We still have welfare.

  • Effy

@chris: He isn’t Superman, he can’t fix eight years of debt Bush put us in in one term.

  • lucy

I really don’t understand why celebs do this…jesus stick to your work and stop trying to sell something to people. It should be illegal for celebs to sponsor any kind op political party.
