Marion Cotillard: 'Rust & Bone' Screening!

Marion Cotillard stuns on the red carpet at the Rust and Bone screening on Thursday (November 8) in New York City.

In the film, the 37-year-old actress plays a killer whale trainer who loses her legs in an accident and falls in love with a man played by actor Matthias Schoenaerts.

Marion covers the December 2012 issue of Harpers Bazaar UK, and she spoke with the mag about the depth of her role.

“Well, I mean, I love my job, but I’m not going to cut my legs off. Stéphanie loses her legs. It’s a shock,” Marion shared. “If she’d been without them for years, I would have worked differently. But I had to learn with her how it felt – that loss. How it changes her.”

FYI: Marion is wearing head to toe Dior, and the screening was hosted by The Cinema Society with Dior and Vanity Fair.

She is so gorgeous. Been a fan since seeing her in that Edith Piaf movie

# 5

Stunning woman. Even a strange dress looks good on her.

# 6

It had to happen eventually. After 10,000 excellent fashion hits, Marion goes and does this to herself. What the??? Looks like the China Olympic’s Bird’s Nest.

# 7

We all agree she’s beautiful and one of the best actresses working today but that’s what I call an Horrible dress !

# 8

I don’t get it…the dress is made out of that trendy PVC/Plastic material and she’s wearing a nude slip underneath? God, this outfit is just terrible…you can even see her (white) bra straps in the head and shoulders shots, and some dark thing around her waist which (and it might be a trick of the light) makes her look one heck of a lot wider than she probably is and adds this belly bulge effect from the side. It’s pretty clear that the thing was made for a proper runway model and really doesn’t work on an actress who has a fairly more normal body shape and height. Like if Marion Cotillard was 5’11 and 105 lbs, I’d be bowing down and calling this outfit a quirky work of art. But this is a disaster and if I were her, I would fire my stylist.

@Jigz: “proper runway model”? this woman as a much “proper” body than a skinny model.

This is one of the worst dresses I have ever seen. What was she or her stylist thinking?

Ok, I have to say this: I’m not a fan of Dior. I don’t like this outfit and even Marion’s beauty can’t help it.

she is so beautiful! :)

awful dress! i mean Raf Simons is a serious insult to Monsieur Dior’s work.

Wrap around oneself a shower curtain! what a terrible creepy Lady gaga’s idea!
