Her face is not moving naturally anymore…. Very frozen.

I don’t want to rag on Nicole because I do like her, but she is just asking for it with the botox.

  • danielle

    Always classy, always stunning.

  • yikes

  • rachel

she is scary looking. wrong choice for grace kelly. this role is for someone who is young and not old with lot of botox.

  • jmho

She IS scary looking, nightmare scary.

  • Cate

She seems like a nice person and she is one of our best actresses but these pictures are NOT flattering. Sad what Hollywood does to women :(

  • lula

Poor woman, she used to be natural and fresh when she was young, with her red curly hair and no surgery… now she is close to become a plastic doll, sorry for those who cannot see it.

  • lily

Beautiful person, inside and out!!!!!So nice to see her .

My love and admiration for this uber talented and beautiful soul is forever..will not judge. She is so happy, love it!!!

Monaco is not an Italian city, it is completely surrounded by France. Also, it is a country with several cities including but not limited to Monte Carlo, Monacoville, Fontvielle… Do you get Wikipedia in the States?

Just curious…………… Nicole wearing a wig or has she cut her hair? I do not believe her hair is that thick. Botoxed or not, she is a lovely woman and a very good actress. The young actresses of today lack talent and skill.

  • Alexianna

These aren’t very flattering photos. Nicole Kidman is gorgeous.

  • Taylor

It’s a wig. If you notice, actresses like Nicole and Jen Aniston wear them for every movie that a different look is required. It’s in their contract so that they don’t have to have their real hair altered. Hair and makeup is never put together on set. Nicole would have that done where she is staying or in a production trailer and then would be driven to set (or walked over if its close enough). Crew would be available for touchups. These photos were taken after she was in the morning hairand makeup chair.

  • kelly

eeew. Scary, hairy and cakey. Please stop showing this mummy jj. And no, the wrinkled old hag does not look like Grace Kelly.

  • kelly

    Is that Melanie Griffith?

  • Moh123

She is such a lovely lady.

Firstly Wikipedia is available to anyone with access to the internet.
Secondly, this thread and the one prior contain pictures taken in Genoa, which is an Italian city. They said in the prior thread that the Royal Palace in Genoa is ‘doubling’ for the Palace in Monaco.
I am surprised though that they weren’t able to shoot in the Monaco Royal Palace. It would have given lovely authenticity; Grace’s children are apparently all in favour of this movie.

  • Lo P.

    Dat legs!

  • ..

Unfortunately, Kidman’s face no longer works on the big screen. It is a face that is almost completely devoid of any natural and convincing expression. Nicole now has the face of an actress who is more suited to the daytime television soaps.

  • TC

… another box office bomb from Knickers!

  • X

In 2008, one cosmetic surgery expert told a medical conference that Miss Kidman was so ‘over-Botoxed’, she was giving the industry a bad name.

  • ..

Nicole Kidman has previously stated she does not watch her performances in films. Well madam, it is high time you did. Maybe only then will you finally see what everyone has been talking about for years. You have obsessively filled and botoxed your face, so it is now completely devoid of all natural animation and credibility. What talent you do have is overshadowed by the peculiarity of your facial features and on the big screen the absurdity, of your making, is catastrophically magnified.

  • mimi

Let us pray that Nicole does not recycle her ‘breathy little girl voice’ for this role. The combination of the face and that voice would be far too painful to watch.

  • Orwell

@..: The Kidman haters loves to show the world how cruel and nasty they are. And how little they know about Nicole Kidman and movies in general. “Her face is devoid of expression and credibility”? Eh, I guess that’s why she got an Oscar nomination for her wonderful performance in ‘Rabbit Hole’ in 2011, an Emmy Award nomination for her work in ‘Hemingway and Gellhorn’ in 2012 and got fantastic reviews for her performance in her latest movie ‘The Paperboy’. And that’s also why she keeps on getting the best roles. Next she has a movie directed by Chan wook Park and one co-starring Colin Firth.
But yeah, she has no credibility…You Kidman haters are so desperate these days, it’s hilarious…

  • ..

Thank you ‘Orwell’. Your above comments regarding Nicole’s hectic work schedule, really help to confirm the following fact. Here we have a woman who has continuously expressed a desire to cut down her workload and spend more time with her very young children and husband. But in reality, she continues to work obsessively on back to back projects, while nannies look after the kids … so very selfish.

  • @@

This puff piece is probably the perfect vehicle for Nicole. It will not stretch her dubious acting ability and I can’t imagine the role requires her to convey any kind of emotional or facial expression. Just as well because Kidman’s days, as a convincing actress, are over.

  • Roger

@@@: So you think she wasn’t convincing in ‘Rabbit Hole’ and ‘The Paperboy’? If so, you don’t know anything about acting. No wait. You’re just a psychotic Kidman hater so of course, you don’t watch her movies…

  • Orwell

@..: Thank you for your comment “..”, “@@”, “X”, “TC”. You just confirm the following fact : you don’t know anything about the movie business or Nicole Kidman’s career.

  • @@

“Roger” aka “Orwell” … NOBODY watches Nicole Kidman movies!!

  • Bob

Wouldn’t it be refreshing if Nicole did an honest interview and revealed the following:

    1. My marriage to Cruise was not conventional. He required a public foil for his homosexuality and I am an extremely ambitious actress, who was offered and willingly accepted a contract, which gave me unprecedented exposure in hollywood and around the world.

    2. Part of the reason my two eldest children have virtually nothing to do with me is because I was not a great mother. Funnily enough, Tom has much better parenting skills than me.

    3. Even though we divorced over 10 years ago, I continually mention Tom in interviews because I know his name will generate me publicity.

    4. I am terrified of losing my looks and that is why I obsessively exercise and botox my face to eradicate any signs of ageing. Breast and cheek implants, skin bleaching, etc. I will do whatever it takes to remain desirable and relevant.

    5. My life is far from perfect. My ambition is so overwhelming and in my desperation to remain in the public eye and make even more money, I continually work … consequently, there is very little time left over for my family.

    6. I am not shy. Actually I am quite cunning, controlling and very high maintenance.

    7. I have been deliberately misleading the public for years and I apologise.

  • ..

I think the profiteering pro-Nicole cronies who have infiltrated this site, should demand an IMMEDIATE PAY RISE from Kidman. After all, as Nicole’s face and comments become increasingly more bizarre and her film career falls further into the abyss, they are going to be flat out typing furious responses and maniacally pressing the ‘thumbs down button’, in a pathetic attempt to manipulate and censor public opinion.

  • :$

I think these recent photo’s are a strong indication that this film is going to be another botoxed box office bomb from Kidman.

  • @@

Yep, another flop. How long before the long suffering public storm the cinema ticket box and DEMAND their money back.

  • mimi

Did anyone see her on that Swisse vitamins ad? Seriously, If Swisse were a company that manufactured Botox and facial fillers, then using Kidman in their advertising campaign would make sense. Nicole should be ashamed of herself … selling a false illusion with her false face and body.

  • Carolyn

I am a Nicole supporter since many years and love her movies, and as such I have to intervene and say, please, dear, sweet Nicole, stop it! Your face is so much more beautiful when it can move naturally.

No one cares about a few wrinkles. You look gorgeous, sexy, feminine and beautiful with a hundred wrinkles, but a swollen, stiff face that cannot smile naturally is losing something very important, life and expression.

You are killing an ant in your house by bombing it. You see? I say this because I care for you and worry about where this might end. :(

  • K

With all the fillers and Botox, i will admit Nicole does take some very good still shots. The problem begins when her face appears on the big screen. Sadly, it is now a face that is almost completely devoid of any natural expression and which unfortunately gives her an almost comical appearance on film.

  • Orwell

Thanks again for confirming you are “K”, “mimi”, “@@”, “:$”, “..” and now “Carolyn”. Funny how you need so many names to just repeat the same cr*p. It obviously makes you feel good to insult Nicole Kidman, the woman who stole your fantasy boyfriend Keith Urban. And yes, I’m paid by Kidman and I’m here to “censor public opinion” (your crazy ramblings are “public opinion”?). Of course. Is it all you have? How desperate are you?

  • ..

I do not appreciate your continual harassment and bullying tone and have now reported you to the moderators of Just Jared. This is a public forum and individuals are entitled to freely express their opinion. Do not harass and name call because our opinions differ from yours. The moderators investigation will reveal your abuse of the ‘low comment rating’ aide. You repeatedly try to manipulate public opinion by leaving visible only one-sided sympathetic kidman comments on almost every article. Just Jared do not want the public deserting their site because differing individual comments are censored by a bullying minority.

  • Orwell

@..: And now you’re playing the victim again. As always. But it’s great that you reported me. The moderators will notice that you constantly change your name here. Because you’re desperate for people to believe everybody hates Nicole Kidman. When, in fact, it’s just you and one or two other psychos repeating the same idiotic stories over and over again (is it what you call “public opinion”?). I will gladly give those moderators links to the sites and boards you’ve created over the years (Urban Myths?). And the moderators will also see that I don’t abuse the rating button. You can’t even accept the idea that maybe, just maybe, many people are sick and tired of your little games, lies and hateful comments…

  • ..

You need to accept there are millions of people AROUND THE WORLD, who do not like Nicole Kidman the actress. People who have paid good money to see her films and been bitterly disappointed. When they read her latest interviews, where she gushes about Cruise and scrutinise recent photos, where her rampant Botox use is obvious, then they will freely comment on sites like this.

  • Orwell

@..: The same comments over and over and over again. It’s so obvious you don’t know much about Kidman’s career or about cinema in general. Now, I bet “K”, “TC”, “:$”, “:/”, “mimi” or whatever new name you choose today is going to appear and say they agree with you (of course). Ridiculous and pathetic. And I know there are people who don’t like Kidman as an actress. Thankfully, those people are not obsessed with her like you are. Hatred is really ugly.

  • ..

I can understand your frustration. Obsessively defending an actress who disappoints cinema patrons, time and time again, must be very difficult and distressing. There have been so many box office flops and understandably, paranoia sets in.

  • ;)

    “The Invasion” (2007)

This ghastly adaptation of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” isn’t just one of Kidman’s worst films — it’s one of the worst films ever. Kidman stars a doctor forced to confront a mind-altering epidemic that threatens mankind. Uninspired and tedious with little suspense or intriguing moments, the film and Kidman received scathing reviews.

“The only thing that’s frightening this time around is the sheer, across-the-board incompetence of the filmmakers and the hugely narcissistic performance of its leading lady,” said Lou Lumenick of the New York Post.

  • ;)

    Melanie Reid of The Times, London, writes;

“Australia (2008) the movie, has one huge problem. It stars Nicole Kidman. Big mistake. Big, big mistake. At a stroke, the world’s female cinemagoers will say as one: I’m not going to see it if she’s in it.

Kidman is one of those women who turns other women off. And no, not just because she’s pretty and we’re jealous. It is because we perceive, and men don’t, that she’s one of the most overrated actors in the world, a woman who has been the kiss of death in practically every movie she has starred in.
“Kidman is exquisitely accomplished at being awful.

Did anyone see Cold Mountain? The sweeping American epic (note: another epic) foundered on the rocks of her gormless mirror-gaze. She can’t act. Instead, she drifts around films like a lost porcelain doll, looking frozen, brittle and vapid, staring at the camera with her oh-golly-look-how-I’m-looking-interesting blue eyes.”

  • Carolyn

No, Orwell, not the same comment over and over, the same OPINION over and over, and for a reason. You are not even aware of the fact that you are not doing Nicole a favor by trying to hide what people say about her face.

You do her a disservice. What you perceive to be loyalty is actually instead being an enabler. If you think what Nicole is doing now to her face is GOOD and HELPFUL to HER, then censure what I and others with good intentions write.

If you do NOT think what Nicole is doing to her face is HELPFUL to HER, then let her read what people have to say.

Does it help HER to go on thinking everything is fine when it is clearly not? I don’t think thats what a friend is about. A friend tells it like it is.

By the way, due to human nature, comments that are hidden create curiosity. You all click on them so why bother?

  • Orwell

Wow. You really are predictable and transparent. And still stuck in 2007-2008 (still dreaming that your fantasy boyfriend Keith Urban would divorce her). Can’t wait for you to start posting reviews of Kidman’s Oscar nominated performance in Rabbit Hole (Oscar nom for Best Actress in 2011) and critically acclaimed work in her latest film Paperboy (2012). Or maybe her Emmy nominated performance in Hemingway and Gellhorn (2012). But I’m sure you’ll be able to find bad reviews for those too. Go ahead. You and your multiple personalities obviously have a lot of time to waste.

  • Orwell

@Carolyn: People have been saying the same thing about her face for the last 8 years or so. And she still is one of the most respected actresses in the world. She still gives fantastic performances, she still works with the best actors and directors, she still is hugely respected by her peers, she still gets the most prestigious awards. So who cares? At this point, only people who don’t know much about her career or about cinema (like you) still bother to post cruel comments about her face. Because that’s all you have and because it makes you feel better about yourself.

  • ..

What delusional drugs are you on?? Her rampant BOTOX use has lost her enormous respect as an actress; she gives MEDIOCRE performances; she works with AVERAGE actors and directors; her peers do not want to work with her because she is BOX OFFICE POISON and she no longer wins awards of any MERIT !!
